We stayed seven nights and walked up to San Gimignano on a dirt side road and drove over 1000Kms in the area from the north to Pisa and south Val D’orcia. "Excellent hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Executive king room was very nice, shower with good water pressure. Small elevator but worked fine. Easy walk into historic Siena. We traveled by train and directions provided by hotel staff from train station to hotel were spot on. Be aware escalators in shopping mall go on and on! But are efficient in getting you to upper level where road is to hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Great restaurant just down the street called Osteria Rusticamente that has from scratch food and reasonable priced. Lovely husband and wife owned."

"This hotel is a fabulous place to stay right in San Gimignano. The room had a spectacular view out over the Tuscan countryside. As it was right inside the walls everything was right there and it was particularly nice early in the morning and in the evening when the crowds have thinned."

"We stayed one night while walking the Via Francigena trail. The hotel is located in a perfect spot right in the middle of the main square in beautiful San Gimignano. You are near all.the restaurants, shops and attractions bu it was still very quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great offering lots of variety. We would definitely recommend this hotel."
