The Great Escape is located within The Retreat at Sunset Bluff, a developing community. Please understand that while The Great Escape is complete and production-free, construction is still ongoing in the area.

Curated with a cool, earth-toned palette and windows that flood the home with natural light, The Great Escape intentionally marries the comforts of home with raw, natural beauty unique to the mountainous terrain of Tennessee.

Unique features include an upstairs office space for working remotely and a den for lounging, complete with a record player (bring your favorite vinyl!), futon sofa, and chairs.

Most coveted is the large-scale deck, perfect for small group cookouts, weddings, reunions, business meetings, or other gatherings and celebrations with family, friends, and coworkers.

The firepit is thoughtfully placed with a discrete, wooded view on all sides, and a roomy, fenced area is provided for playtime with your furry friends.

Clean Cabin in Beautiful Nature
Highly recommend this cabin. Have stayed at several cabins in NC and TN, this one was super clean, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Would have loved to stay longer. Driveway is a bit steep for regular cars, our Jeep had no problem though. Amazing patio, perfect for grilling or relaxing.

Well stocked, quiet and close to hiking trails
This cabin is very spacious in the main room with a very well stocked kitchen which we appreciated for cooking. The location is close to some of our favorite hiking trails as well as Tracy City and Monteagle for eating out. A nice enclosed space for a dog. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a future visit.
