"This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and were very helpful and easy to deal with. They left us to it but were on hand if we needed anything"

Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. "Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
