The two stand-outs for me were: The picture south-facing window, so had wonderful light and an incredible view that changed through the day: The downstairs bedroom which stayed cool even with 30c days. "We had a wonderful stay with our kids and their grandparents at the house and Jan and his family were there to greet us and couldn't have been nicer. The house and property are in a great location for peace, quiet and beautiful nature! There was lots to do with Anduze and Alès being so close and the house was great to spend the day at as well! Nice hikes, swimming in the pool, BBQing, reading in the hanging chairs and dinners over looking the mountains was so relaxing. We highly recommend this...

"Lovely setting with large, rambling gardens over many levels. Great swimming pool with lots of sun loungers. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative is that house is split over many levels, with lots of staircases and we didn’t get this impression from the website."

"The house might be small but it has been well renovated to maximise the available space. Well equipped with lots of outdoor space and seating areas. The location is great in an idyllic landscape. The owners were very helpful."

St Jean du Gard is the perfect village with excellent markets and there are excellent walks right on the doorstep. "We had a lovely stay at this nice house in de the mountains. The house is modern with even USB Sockets to charge your phone. If I had to name one flaw of the house it would be that the dishwasher takes like for ever to wash the dishes. The layout of the house is very pleasant. It has two rooms one down and one upstairs both with their own shower and toilet. "This is our second stay at the villa and we came back for a reason. The property is great to come together as a family to cook, play some uno and share some great meals in front of the fire. But then people can spread out for their downtime to play pool or get stuck into a good book in a comfy chair.
