"This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. "I have to say this was the best vrbo I ever stayed in due to the amazing couple that owned and manages this place. They were helpful in so many ways. "We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Thank you for a lovely stay in the house. The kids enjoyed the sports facilities and the development is peaceful and secure. Spacious garden and house, even for 5 of us and the house could have still been comfortable with more people. Great location, close to shops etc., but still a quiet location surrounded by sunflowers. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
