"Very relaxing and comfortable stay in the countryside near Sarlat. The room was small but comfortable and with all amenities. Very quiet in an old country home. A great French breakfast was included and you can order dinner (be sure to ask the host in the morning) with fresh and high quality local delicacies. The host was also very friendly and helpful. We recommend for anyone looking to taste the Périgord countryside!"

Chambre au décor charmant et lit bien comfortable. Ils nous ont réservé une table au restaurant voisinant pour le dîner et ont recommandé des superbes lieux à explorer dans cette région enchantée. "Incredible hotel. This hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard, especially the Maraval Suite which is perfect for families. The staff at the hotel, especially Laurie, are very helpful. The swimming pool is heated and perfect for both relaxing and swimming lengths. The spa area is very nice too. The surroundings are very peaceful and we loved our time at Maraval. Great location close to La Roque Gageac, Beynac-et-Cazenac and more. Recommend the Pito bakery in Cénac for...

"Nous avons passé 3 jours agréables dans ce bel établissement. Son emplacement est idéal car nous pouvons rejoindre toutes les principales attractions touristiques de la région en moins de 20 minutes. Nos hôtes étaient très agréables et nous ont donné de bons conseils sur les endroits à visiter et où manger. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner et nous les recommanderons à tous nos amis. "An amazing place tucked away in the countryside but conveniently located for lots of the area’s attractions. We came in late Sept and the weather was warm enough for us to picnic our evening meal on the terrace in peace and quiet. The hosts are brilliant nothing is too much trouble and spent time explaining the best places to go. The rooms are of a really high standard and decorated impressively. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. "

"We checked in late but Christophe was waiting for us. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very quaint, typically French which was just what we wanted. Our room was fabulous, beautifully decorated and welcoming (warm and cosy). Breakfast was continental and filled us up for the day ahead with breads/yoghurts/cereals. This a small family run hotel which suited us well and we will definitely recommended to friends and family. One small thing to note is the availability of restaurants...

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. Patrice took much of his time for us during our stay. During one of the days, he super kindly showed us the proximity, their horses, and the plants around. The kids got attached to our hosts and...
