"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. "The property was Ok but the bedrooms let it down. Neither bedroom had any storage space, just a hanging rail on which to hang trousers and shirts. No drawer space whatsoever, which means living out of a suitcase for a week. The ground floor bedroom was very small which means the suitcases were on the floor and presented a trip hazard. "Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."
