Decorated with style and impeccable taste, it allows a large group (we were seven adults) to gather in the living and dining spaces while the very comfortable rooms are quiet. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and everything a foody needs! The courtyard is beautiful and the upper level garden is a great place to relax. Our hosts were attentive and generous with their time, always there to help or advise. Flavigny is like a picture postcard - something to admire around every corner. If you're thinking about staying here, DO NOT HESITATE - it's wonderful!"

"A charming and well equipped house in a beautiful and peaceful village. We loved getting fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning, and sitting on the terrace as the sun set after a busy day sightseeing in the surrounding towns and countryside. "Unique experience. This bed and breakfast is at a bit remote but really magical beautiful small hilltop village town in Burgundy region. The rooms are above a bakery with delicious smell of baked goods. The owner Katherine and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Freshly baked bread and croissants for breakfast daily. What more can you ask for. Those unfamiliar with these towns, recommend getting there during the day time. Narrow deserted roads and streets at night are a bit tricky since we were not used to them. Totally safe and fine traveling during the day though. "

"My family of 4 stayed in this apartment/house in the middle of summer 2023, and had a lovely time. The house was neat and clean, and had everything we needed - normally previous guests leave behind a little oil and salt, pepper etc. (we normally rely on this and always leave things in return), however we weren't so lucky this time! The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, but my kids had a bit of trouble sleeping in the guest bedroom. As expected the house is old and creaky and this is part of its charm. We loved the town, and the townsfolk were generally very polite, although I wonder how much they like having tourists in their community. The local sweet shop is an absolute treasure, and is alone worth a visit to the town. So to are the night time walks of the town, and the time spent "cat spotting" each evening. There is a small local grocery store for local essentials, a bakery with excellent bread - but in these small towns, the opening hours can be erratic so it is likely you'll need to make the 10 minute drive to the nearest town to stock up on supplies. Don't count on the local restaurant and bar to be open either. It's not very clear in the description, but you will be charged for linen and towels - for us, it was 70 euro. You may also be charged for electricity if you're staying in winter. We loved our stay, but some of the communications could be better translated (or not at all; which may actually be easier to read)."
