"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"The hotel is half way through a refurb so reception and breakfast are in a portacabin. We booked in for 2 nights but the the keycard failed after 24hrs, the aircon didn't work on the second evening either, breakfast was missing basic items like butter"

"The rooms were lovely and well appointed. Most staff spoke a little English so communication was not an issue. I liked having access to the spa however perhaps there should be one point of payment to prevent Being confused. There was no access to a restaurant which would have been nice to know at the time of booking."

"Reception opens at 5pm We went at 4:50pm and the receptionist yelled at us for showing up early I have traveled to over 80 countries and stayed at 100’s of hotels over the past 30 years Have not met someone more rude The hotel is clean (more like a motel). We came here for the church and this was the only option on Expedia "
