Beautiful historical Villa 10 persons

Prati Piani, a seven hectare estate, is situated at a height of 1100 metres near the top of the Monte Grande of the Alpes Maritimes. Originally the summer retreat of a producer of pasta, there are three buildings; a villa, an employees’ home consisting of two separate dwellings, and a farm (fattoria).
Dating back to 1930, the Villa was built to a luxurious finish: oak-wood doors and staircase, parquet flooring, large bathrooms, a wood-fired heating system with two authentic fireplaces and a small studio over the garage for the chauffeur.

Pool ist auf der anderen Strassenseite gemeinsam mit einem 2 Objekt. Sauna nur gegen Aufpreis. Stand so nicht im Inserat. Nächstes Restaurant 25 Min. Autofahrt. Einkaufen 40 Min. Badezimmer und WCs renovierungsbedürftig. Küche im Keller

bien mais un peu cher
Nous étions deux familles, 4 adultes et 6 enfants, dans cette belle et grande maison du début du XXème siècle. Il reste les traces de l'ancienne activité de la maison (hôtel) avec sonnette dans les chambres, cuisine avec lavabo et table en marbre, monte-charge, etc, ce qui lui donne beaucoup de charme. On a un peu l'impression d'être dans un livre d'Agatha Christie. Les montagnes autours sont également très belles ; la randonnée sur le sommet derrière la ferme offre un point de vue magnifique sur les Alpes françaises. Les températures peuvent être fraîches en août, il fait facilement 5 degrés de moins que sur la côte car nous sommes en altitude. Compter 30 minutes pour aller au bord de mer, 2h pour aller à Gênes. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, mais avons trouvé le prix un peu élevé par rapport à la qualité de la prestation : certains éléments de la maison auraient besoin d'être rénovés ou remplacés (lits, vaisselle dépareillée, prises électriques à l'ancien standard italien), la piscine n'est pas chauffée, le jacuzzi est au feu de bois, une chambre est à l'écart des autres (l'ancienne chambre du chauffeur) : impossible d'y faire dormir des enfants en bas âge.
