Home On White Lake With Private Frontage, Sleeps 10, Modern Kitchen

Located right on White Lake with private frontage!

Home features 3 bedrooms (one of which is a master suite with an attached bathroom), three full bathrooms, and 3 sofa/sleeper combos. Very beautiful home in a great area with tons of great activities to enjoy from world class fishing, boating, water skiing, kayaking, and tubing on the White Lake, White River, Lake Michigan, Muskegon Lake and Muskegon River to hiking the Manistee National Forest. There are bike/walking trails just a very short walk down the road where you can enjoy a stroll. Medbery Park on Lake Michigan is only a short 8 minutes away via car.

Home was just fully renovated in 2015 and is in great shape! Central air added in 2017! Patio added in 2021!

Michigan Adventures Amusement Park and Water Park are only a short 15-minute drive away and is worth at least two days worth of fun. Definitely some fun coasters and water rides there (even for the adults!).

Check out Pekadils for ice cream, creative sandwiches and soups.

Take a 15-minute trip to the Duck Lake State Park where you can enjoy all of nature.

How about a trip through the Manistee National Forest on your 4 wheeler, dirt bike, or other ATV? Head over to the Holton Motorcycle Trail Head on Brunswick Rd in Holton about a 30-minute drive.

Never been to a petting zoo? Head to Lewis Farm and Petting Zoo up in New Era, which is about 15 minutes from the home.

Looking forward to beautiful white sand beaches of Lake Michigan! How about tearing some of those dunes up at the Silver Lake Dunes area where you can ride ATV’, dirt bikes, trucks, or dune buggies. Dune buggy rentals are available all over Silver Lake Dunes area. The drive is about 30 minutes.

Is drinking a craft beer your thing? There are three brew pubs close by.

Want to try a family bike trip down the Montague/Hart bike trail? The trail picks up about ¼ mile east of the home on Old Channel Trail. Don’t have bikes? Not a problem, head to White Lake Excursions located in Montague. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to call ahead to reserve your bikes!

Are any of your children a little Beethoven??? Stop on over to the Blue Lake Fine Arts Music Camp! More info at bluelake.org.

If a leisurely game of golf is more your thing, don’t worry, we have you covered. There are numerous Golf courses just a short drive away. My personal favorite is Stonegate Golf Course located in Twin Lake about 30 minutes away. This gem is nestled in the Manistee National Forest.

Great location
We had a great time at this lakeside property. Although it was very near town, we felt like we were far away from our busy day-to-day lives. The house was comfortable and fit our family of 4 adults just right. The kitchen was very modern and nicely equipped and we all had fun cooking in it. We loved the open concept, too. The bike trail being so close was a bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Property
Perfect for my children and grandchildren to get together. Nice quality of bedding and towels, all the basics provided. We rented a pontoon and the dock was great. Also fishing from the dock.

We stayed over labor day weekend and it was amazing! Stephen was so quick to answer text, the house was stocked with everything we needed and it was very clean! The only thing we would have liked was a swimming area but there places to go near by if we wanted to swim. This was an amazing get away for our family! The house was very spacious, the bedrooms were great and had very comfortable beds! I would stay here again!

Montague Lakefront
This property is very nice. It has great space for an extended family and was well stocked. It was a short drive to the beach/Medbury Park. We enjoyed being able to sit at the dock on the lake in the mornings. We used the fire pit and kayaks and walked with close trail access to get into town. Enjoyable week with plenty to do.

Summer vacation
We enjoyed our stay in Montague! A few of us tried out the kayaks, we used the Adirondack chairs and fire pit one evening. The kids enjoyed using the swim rings. The cottage is close to the bike trail which made it an easy walk into the downtown area. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen! Communication with the property owner was easy…we had a great week!

Great time had by all!
We really enjoyed our time as a family at this property. We had a great time making awesome memories. We rented a pontoon boat that we were able to keep right at the dock for fun days on the lake, and then we were able to retreat to the house for down time. Highly recommend this property for a family! You’re a little close with neighbors but they are so very nice. They actually sprayed off our little dock a couple of times for us, which we greatly appreciated.

Making family memories
We had a wonderful time at this house with our four grandsons ages 3, 4 and two 10 year olds. The house held 10 people very comfortably. We enjoyed having a large refrigerator in the kitchen and one in the garage. The dock was very large and we had plenty of room for our rented pontoon boat. We caught lots of fish off that dock. Looking forward to coming back to White Lake.

Fabulous stay!
This house could not have been more perfect for our family! There were 9 of us and we all had our space and great times together! The backyard was huge, the kids loved playing outside after a day at the beach! The house was spotless and so well stocked with great towels and kitchen needs (pots/pans/utensils). The notebook was great, it answered every question we had! The house was decorated so cute....I seriously cannot think of one bad thing! We made wonderful memories, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you Stephen!

Great Lake House
We we really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for out family. Besides being well equipped, it was very clean and in a very convenient location close to town. The only hiccup we had was that we brought a boat and a wave runner so we had two trailers. With multiple cars for our family and two trailers, there wasn't enough room for our larger trailer. Not realizing the driveway was so steep, I should have verified logistics of bringing multiple trailers with to the property. But overall, great stay and great host!

Wonderful White Lake
This property definitely exceeded our expectations. Stephen was very accessible through texts and emails to accommodate our every need. Like any accommodations there may be issues and although they were small Stephen promptly and thoroughly resolved the few issues that we did have. The house was amazingly supplied with all of the little things that most rentals do not have. The kitchen was especially nice with beautiful cabinets and an abundance of pots, pans, utensils and dinnerware.

Quiet with quite the view
The whole family had a wonderful time, from time on the water, to enjoying the open floor plan of the home. All the beds are very comfortable and the canopy of trees helped shade the rooms from the early morning sun.

Everything You Could Dream of….
We love this property and have stayed here many times. We have so many precious memories of boating, fishing, bike riding and sitting by the lake. The house is beautiful and Stephen provides all of the comforts of home. We highly recommend!

House is beautiful.
House is comfortable; host was easy to communicate with. Description is accurate. Property does have lake frontage; however, during our stay, it was not user friendly. There is not a sandy beach; algae was rampant and the geese are frequent visitors (and where there are geese, these is plenty of geese feces). This made it impossible to allow my grandkids to swim at the property. We made daily trips to local beaches, which was an unexpected added chore…but found the recommended beaches and other suggested attractions a fun outing. The deck is quiet and pleasant but quite a distance from the lake front. The steep drive was excellant daily exercise. And the surrounding neighborhood is nice for walking. Property lines are well defined and neighbors keep to themselves.
