"Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back."

"The hotel is a very old fashioned place, frozen in time. Rooms were clean but small and the bathrooms were very tight. However, the breakfast was very good and the city of Monschau is a must see, very picturesque little city, just lovely. Just a warning, everything closes early. "

"Sehr schönes, neues Zimmer mit modernem Bad. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Eigentümer sehr freundlich. Er hat beim Frühstück jeden gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und Ausflugstipps gegeben. Das "Gemeckere" einer anderen Familie, dass das Zimmer und die Handtücher bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten nur auf Anfrage gereinigt/gewechselt werden, kann ich gar nicht verstehen... "

"Nach der Beschreibung hatten wir nicht erwartet, dass der Gasthof 6km von Monschau-Altstadt entfernt liegt. Der Einstieg zum Wanderweg ist zwar in direkter Nähe, aber am Abend musste man über die Bundesstraße zurücklaufen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste im Hotel, daher war die Küche zu, aber zum Glück gibt es in direkter Nähe ein kleines Restaurant. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. "

"Wir waren Anfang Januar für 3 Tage mit 10 Personen Hund in der wunderschönen Unterkunft. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Sehr gemütlich und sauber. Sehr netter Vermieter, der auch während der Zeit für Fragen zur Verfügung stand, wenn es notwendig ist. Reichlich Feuerholz stand zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich hatten wir traumhaftes Winterwetter mit reichlich Schnee."
