"Lovely little hotel in a characterful little village"

"I stayed at this beautiful place with my daughter and two sisters. We all loved the place. It was so cozy, spacious, and clean. It was also close to restaurants, shops, and the main attraction, the natural park on the Douro river."

"Overall, this was good. But some comments: Advertised as Adults only. It wasn’t. That does not mean the children who were around were a problem - they were not. We suspect the hotel has been modernised. And reasonably well too. But nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels, no fridge, no tea/coffee facilities. But the staff were also very helpful (even though very little English was actually spoken despite being advertised). But we got through with their helpfulness. "
