"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"

Lodge was superbly clean and very pleasently laid out and prepared hats off to the host .Only thing id mention as going by the pictures i assumed it was the whole lodge pictured wene was only half but was plentyful for me and my wife .Already planning a 2nd trip with the bigger lodge If your looking definatly book "

"The lodge was lovely with views of the shoulders of Exmore. It was well fitted with good working facilities and the site was very nicely kept and only has around eight lodges was quiet. The hosts were very supportive when we asked for help. The site is about 30 minutes walk or five minutes drive from the seafront at Minehead."

"Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up."
