"The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony with beautiful views of the bay and, in the distance, the Aeolian Islands. Mama Lina and everyone else was very hospitable and friendly - we certainly felt at home. It is 5-10 minute drive from the town of Patti - we preferred that it was quieter than being in a town centre. It is helpful to know some Italian but if not you can always use Google translate!
