Nice house in a quiet cove
This was our 2nd stay in this house. It is located in a very quiet cove with deep water suitable for swimming and fishing. We spent most of the time on the dock which has nice covered area to keep yourself cool in summer heat. The house was very clean, cozy, with plenty of space to spread after a day in the sun and water. Covered screened deck off the kitchen level is very nice to have , protects from elements, rain and moscitoes.

Family Thanksgiving
We stayed at the house on Smith Mountain Lake for our family Thanksgiving. There was 10 of us and plenty of space. We had a great time lounging at the house and also taking the very short drive into town. Very convenient location! This home is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope to go back in the summer!

No Regrets
Though the stay wasn’t long, I enjoyed the home. It was spacious, clean, and overall a great home. The only disappointment is that we had to clean a portion of the patio to sit and enjoy the view. But it would not deter my future bookings. I just wish we could have enjoyed the the up and bottom patio more. I enjoyed the visit and the property.

Had an amazing week! This was our second time staying at Sunny Days. Wonderful changes and upgrades since last year! Your home at the lake is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for all 7 of us.

This property is beautiful! It worked very well for my four sisters and me. We sat outside on the screened deck most of the time and ate several meals out there. The kitchen was well equipped and large enough for all of us. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We all agreed we would love to stay here again next year.

Great getaway!
We had a great girls weekend at this house. The house was setup well for a larger group. The kitchen has great counter space for preparing and serving. The couches are big and very comfortable. Very comfortable beds too! This home is convenient to everything - just minutes to grocery stores, Bridgewater Plaza and several restaurants. A lot of memories made and we will definitely make a trip back and stay at this home again!

Your house was beautiful. We enjoyed our family weekend very much. I loved drinking my coffee on the porch swing early morning while watching the water. So relaxing! Just the peace I needed

My family traveled from 3 different states to stay together. The house was perfect. Enough space for everyone. The weather wasn't the best, but we were able to enjoy the fire pit, dock, lake, and games. Perfect location and quick drives to restaurants, arcade, mini golf, and grocery stores. 7th annual family lake trip. Grandparents and kids included. Great house for all ages. Fun house for a family to vacation in.
This house is laid out beautifully for a big family to vacation in. It has plenty of beds and bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, big kitchen and dining area and TV rooms. There is a TV room upstairs and downstairs and a pool table and foosball game. Lots of DVD movies to watch. The upstair porch is so nice since it is screened in and the downstair porch is open. Stairs down to the dock and a nice quiet corner of the lake.

Enjoyable stay and met expectations
This was a birthday gift to my husband. This home was at the end of a short quiet cove which would have little to no boat traffic during the summer months with the exceptions of the other homes within the cove. The wrapped screened in porch/deck was great. This home had all the amenities and was bright, clean, roomy and very welcoming.

We were here for our daughter’s wedding and it worked out perfectly! Only 2 complaints, first construction going on early next door, and part of screen porch by door ripped up letting flies in and our dog out. Otherwise the house looks loved and was well equipped with everything you need! We would certainly come back!

Great water front house with amenities!
We stayed over the Memorial weekend, 3 families with kids between 5and 15 year old. The house was very clean, bright and spacious. All beds were comfy, linens and towels fresh and clean. Very spacious kitchen with all needed utensils and appliances. We had some periods of rain and covered screened deck was very nice to still be outside and enjoy lake view and fresh air. The dock is partially covered, which helped our fishermen during periods of rain and to keep their stuff dry. Very nice quiet cove with no traffic made it safe for kids to swim. Really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Getaway
I would highly recommend this place if you wanna be outdoors and enjoy the beauty of SML. What I like best is all of the outdoor space which includes two decks on the back of the house and a huge brand new dock and boathouse at the lake. The place is located way back in a cove so there is virtually no other boat traffic. Although I like to be outside at a place like this, there is internet and DirecTV in the event of a bad weather day. Sunny Days is the place for families wanting to spend some great time together!

Sunny Days - bright and cheery
We loved this location on the lake. The bedding and rooms were set up perfect for our family with private baths. Very clean with TV's everywhere along with giant game room. The large expansive decks were also fun. The upper one covered and screened came in handy one afternoon during a rain shower. The kids loving being outside. The boat house and dock were especially nice and our grandson was able to reel in his first fish. Highly recommend Sunny Days. Ample shopping and restaurants nearby especially Kroger's market.

Outstanding Property
We had a blast during the couple of days we stayed here. The house is large with plenty of space. We had four couples and space was never an issue. The two large decks are awesome and had plenty of seating for all of us on both decks. Both decks provided great views of the lake. There is a fire pit down the stairs by the lake and chairs are also provided for the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you will need. Everything was very clean and operational. It was also a bonus it had wireless connection. We would definitely go back.

Great house and location but needs updating and deep cleaning.
Overall the house and dock were good. A few things need attention though. Grill is no longer usable, the pool table felt & bumpers need replacing and the air hockey was beat up and not usable. Outlets at kitchen island didn't work. House needs a deep cleaning as well.

Sunny Days Perfect for US!
Loved this property! We've been renting at SML for about 15 years and this has become one of my favorites. Nice, clean, well appointed home had everything we needed. We had a large group staying in 4 different houses. We hosted dinner for the group one night and there was plenty of room at the dock for all the swimmers, we had cornhole set up on the large lower deck, and made good use of the pool table in the basement. My favorite part is the screened uppder deck. The home's location was perfect for us by road and water...less than 5 mins. to Bridgewater. Owner was very friendly and responsive with my questions. We will definitely seek this house out again in future years! We had a great time...thanks!
