very nice unit. the only owner issue would be the throw rugs have some rolled up corners creating a tripping hazard. Property does not look like its been mowed in a few weeks either. but overall very pleased

I love it here. This was my 3rd stay at the Gangplank Waterfront condos in less than a year. All the amenities of home and a beautiful view for about the same price as a hotel room. The property managers are communicative and seem to genuinely want to make sure their guests are comfortable. There are markets, a Kroger, and several restaurants within a reasonable driving distance (our favorite restaurants are Napoli by the Lake and Napoli Cowboy). A little further drive but totally worth it is Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, the Monticello Wine Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Virginia Tech campus. I would live here if I could. suretheir guests are comfortable.

Elevator out of order
The property was as pictured. The unit was clean. View was terrific. The letdown was learning the elevator was broken and all luggage, coolers and belongings had to go down the stairs. All in our party was 73+, 3 of the 4 were incapable of doing stairs. Prior notice would have been appreciated.
