The free cycles are a great addition making it easy to explore the local countryside, villages and vineyards (wine tasting). "We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

"I have stayed here before and got a lovely welcome after a 5 years absence. Room was clean and comfortable, but noted the stairs carpet was showing some wear, which took a little shineoff the overall appearance, but not enough to spoil my stay"

"We enjoyed our one-night stay here, as we were in transit across France. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with my feeble attempts to speak French! The room was adequate, fairly spacious with good storage for luggage. The bathroom was dated but clean. Towels were fluffy and smelled good 👍 The bed was kind of firm but still comfortable. Just 1 pillow per person but comfortable. TV and internet worked fine. Breakfast was good, lovely croissants. We also had dinner in the restaurant. Pasta bolognese was delicious. The fish fillet was also very good, the only problem was it was listed on the menu as being served with haricots vert but it was not. The chocolate eclair was delicious! Overall a good stay and would recommend it. There are no tourist attractions within walking distance, so you need a car to do any exploring. "
