"Helpful and friendly staff who could answer any questions. Bathroom door was a sliding one with a gap around all sides so not soundproof in any way also not well ventilated. Cheap toilet tissue. Otherwise good room with kettle for tea but only two teabags supplied, one black and one camomile. Balcony looked at the building next door. Very lovely bed linen. Rooms not made up until the afternoon. Good fresh breakfast items but the heated food containers had been turned off so food was cold. Good location. Small observations but they make a difference. "

"Stayed for 4 nights, hotel in a great location. Easy access to beach, marina, shops, restaurants and a short walk into Quarteira. From the moment you enter, the staff are amazing. Large, comfortable rooms, restaurants, bars and general areas all immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym contained in beautiful grounds. B&B option includes a superb buffet breakfast, with large variety of foods available. Although located at bottom of marina and hotel was busy, very quiet at night with no noise, which was great."

"We selected the all inclusive buffet and it was amazing day after day. Sao was always welcoming and so was all the staff. The location is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The backyard pool was pleasant to hang out around and read or have a drink. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Excellent stay of 2 weeks. "

"Don’t hesitate to stay at this very special hotel! The setting is beautiful with lovely views, gardens, lake and man -made beach. We took the bird/flora tour and the wine tasting, both were fantastic! The choice of leisure activities is awesome, something for everyone! Breakfasts were just the best with so much choice (the fruit and freshly baked bread and pastries were exceptional). Above all, a big thank you to the staff who, without exception, could not do enough for you with a smile and a greeting. Special mention to Alex, customer relations, who sent us wine and macaroons and was so helpful, Mona in the restaurant who anticipated our every need and was such fun! The lovely, bubbly (great English!) lady on reception who took the bird tour. Wonderful holiday, ten out of ten."
