Winter Wonderland
"We came to this home a week before Thanksgiving and we got to live our winter wonderland dreams. Just enough snow that the kids were able to sled and build snowmen the whole trip, but not enough snow to keep us snowed it. Definitely older lodge, but apparently they are working on updating it. Room was very spacious, but no wi-fi. It was available in restaurant and lobby though. Apparently lodge is working on that too. All in all was comfortable stay

There was no other options for dining or anything other than nature near this hotel. So if you want to eat somewhere other than their dining room, it is 18 miles to Salida, Co. Too far if you are deciding to have a cocktail:(
