Vedran ( property manager) met us with many suggestions for our stay, plus when we wanted a vineyard tour and nice lunch he was very helpful in setting it up. Cavtat is pretty much an ideal location. It is stunning in its own right and ideally situated. We went to Dubrovnik once by ferry and once by suburban bus. Restaurants were a short walk and pretty darn good. "This accommodation was perfect for us, tucked away in a pleasant little village (with a crystal clear river and waterfalls running through) which was peaceful and quiet but not too far away from all the places of interest. We had a hire car as one of our party has poor mobility but there is a local bus which goes into Dubrovnik. Although driving is on the right in Croatia it was not difficult as there is one straight road along the coast so there is no need to navigate roundabouts and...
