"The owner definitely pays attention to details. It had towels laid out in these cute little baskets a well stocked kitchen in terms of tools and the decor was very charming. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is an older building so the water pressure in the shower was low, there's no dishwasher and it is a 2 flat and the upstairs unit controlled the heat and we were on the first floor."

"We were in Homewood for a wedding and this was a perfect location. Besides its proximity to the wedding venue, we walked to the train station for a day in the city. The house is exactly as listed. "We really enjoyed the stay! The owner is super responsive and went above and beyond for anything we needed and didn’t have while there. If you will be there for a specific event such as hosting a holiday, make sure to confirm that appliances are available that you might need beforehand. They will make sure you have them! No working air conditioner.

"The hotel was fantastic. The surrounding area is quiet and semi-secluded. Just what we wanted. The room was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We were pleased the bathroom had complimentary toiletries. Everything seemed great until we turned on the air conditioning. It didn't work. This week was a hot one too. In the 80's F. We called the first night and i was told they wouldn't have a maintenance person until tomorrow morning. When ibasked if we could switch rooms, I was told the only ones available would be a downgrade. So we stayed and slept with the patio open. We were promised a technician would work on it first thing the next day. The next day came, and we told the front desk, the air conditioning technician was welcome to come fix it after we left for breakfast. So when we came back later that day hoping to take a nap in a cooled of room, it was STILL HOT!! I called the front desk again demanding to knkw why our air conditioning unit wasnt fixed. The hotel had no answer as to why. They seemed surprised even. I demanded they have a technician in the room to fix it in the next 30 minutes or they NEED to upgrade us to a suite. Ten minutes later we get a knock on the door and its the technician. He introduces himself and apologizes for the "miscommunication". About ten minutes later, he has the air conditioner up and running. He then packs up his tools and apologizes one more time before leaving. Thats my ony issue I had."
