"Upon arrival at the historic National Hotel in Jackson, CA, following a lengthy 7-hour drive, I was immediately struck by the establishment's grandeur and helpful staff. With a rich history spanning over 100 years, this hotel has hosted an impressive array of notable guests, including three U.S. presidents and John Wayne. Its stunning Victorian-style architecture is truly a sight to behold, transporting visitors back in time to the 1800s. "

"Lisa at the front desk helped check us in. She was really welcoming and provided us with info about various things to do around the area (gave us a magazine that features all the history of the town and nearby attractions). The hotel was clean and our room spacious. The only down side was the fire alarm that woke us up in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ok"

"We were in Angels Camp for a weekend funeral/celebration of life, and really only needed a quite convenient location for the evenings. But we were so impressed by this beautiful property, so many amenities, and the room was huge, with a large bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining room, and rather large bathroom. We took advantage of the gym one early morning. How we wished we'd had more time to take advantage of all the fun amenities. Parking was ample, the wifi was a free bonus, and the property (located near the golf course) was stunning. What a fabulous find, with great rates! We highly recommend this property to visitors to the area!"
