Playa Macenas is a new luxury 5 * in a golf complex (18 holes) next to the beach, exclusive pool for the Towers and 24 hour security. The complex is surrounded by the spectacular Cabo de Gata National Park and is just 1.5 km from Mojácar Playa with its blue flag beaches, restaurants and bars.

Hemos estado con la família y la verdad que ha sido todo de 10. La casa perfecta, tal y como en las fotos. El enclave de lujo, mucha tranquilidad. Muy recomendable Volveremos!

Das Haus war sehr schön. Gute Lage und schöne Pools in der Umgebung. Kann es weiter empfehlen. Das einzige leichte zu bemängeln wäre das wlan im Haus. Kaum Empfang. Sonst alles gut. Mit dem Gastgeber waren wir auch zufrieden.

Disappointing
Unfortunately, despite the beautiful location of the urbanisation, the wonderfully kept communal areas and lovely house we felt that the price we paid was not justified due to the lack of amenities contained within the house as well as issues with security. Having raised these concerns with both the landlord and the managing agent we are yet to receive a response. Below is a summary of some of the issues. KITCHEN - Not enough crockery for 6 people, not enough mugs (2), wine glasses (2), bowls etc - Cafetière was broken - No whisk, no stick on the mop, no bucket - The washing machine soap cover was broken and fell off continuously -No matches for the gas stove BATHROOM - Toilet chain constantly gets stuck - Bide broken and floods when turned on BEDROOMS - Most of the lightbulbs needed replacing - In two weeks we were not able to change bedsheets as only set provided and washing machine wasn’t working properly - Lack of hangers in wardrobe (3 in each room) PLUGS - Some of the plugs in the living room are broken, the others are used for lights/WiFi etc so you can’t charge a mobile etc - Plug in the kitchen is a health hazard as the plug sockets have come away from the wall and are exposed, next to the hobs. SECURITY - The sliding doors in two of the bedrooms do not lock shut and face the open planned garden outside which can be easily accessed, thus someone could get through the shutters and easily open the doors. This made us feel uneasy when leaving the house given we had laptops etc inside etc. Given the reasons above we feel we are unable to leave a good review and justify the price we paid having come here on holiday to relax and expecting these basic amenities to be available in the house for a two week stay.

Todo perfecto, la casa, la piscina, la situación respecto de la playa y el centro de mojacar.. a parte todo muy limpio cuando entramos. Muy completa la cocina, por poner alguna pega de podían cambiar algunas sartenes. Muy recomendable
