Quiet Location, Close to Beach and Amenities in Maritime Village of Moelfre

The village of Moelfre is located on the popular north east coast of Anglesey. The location offers a combination of a picturesque maritime village with a unique history, a working lifeboat, excellent beaches, stunning coastline, spectacular countryside and a wide range of things to see and do.
The village offers a family friendly pub close to the beach with panoramic views over Moelfre Bay, a well stocked village store , a family run cafe,a renowned takeaway fish and chip shop ,a seafront ice cream parlour and a tempting gift shop.
Llais y Llanw has lawned gardens to the front and rear, a decked terrace to enjoy the Anglesey sunshine and off road parking for two vehicles.
The property sleeps four and has a simple layout of two spacious bedrooms, a kitchen diner, lounge and family bathroom.
The kitchen has fitted units and has all the appliances necessary for a relaxing holiday plus a Nespresso coffee machine. The bright and airy lounge has doors opening out onto the garden and is furnished with two comfortable leather sofas, a cosy electric stove, TV and DVD player.
The newly refurbished bathroom offers a spacious walk in electric shower .
Llais y Llanw has been tastefully furnished in a contemporary style with hints to Moelfre's nautical past. Traditional Welsh blanket fabrics have been incorporated into many of the soft furnishings.
Llais y Llanw translates from Welsh to English as "Voice of the Tide". We can't guarantee that the sun always shines down on Anglesey but the unmistakeable calling of the local seagulls will remind you that you are staying a short walk from one of the finest stretches of coast in North Wales and beyond.

The accommodation was exactly as described and was excellent. The location was excellent with easy access to Moelfre and its amenities. Also an ideal location to explore Anglesey which is a place we hadn’t visited before. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay
Would recommend this bungalow , great location near the beach and a great pub which serves lovely home made food and alcohol. Village has a good convenience shop. Nice coastal walk nearby. Bungalow has everything you would want.

Anglesey spoilt us!
Very impressed with the property, well equipped and spotless. We are two old friends who meet up to have a holiday together each year in different parts of UK. This was perfect for us. Self catered most of time but indulged in the local fish and chips and a meal at the local pub, both recommended. Anglesey spoilt us with glorious weather and we explored many parts. Walked a number of parts of the coastal path. Visited two NT properties. Explored Penmon Point, Newborough Forest and beach, a number of ancient monuments and experienced seaweed baths! We met many lovely people both local and holidaymakers. Could not recommend the property or island more highly.

Loved clean and cosy cottage in cute beach location. Great coffee machine and lovely welcome basket. Only downside was no smart tv, so just basic analogue channels, but it wouldn't put us iff returning.

Lovely property, highly recommended
Beautiful bungalow - very clean and well laid out and with high quality furniture and equipment. It feels like a ‘proper’ home, not a holiday let, with a big kitchen and plenty of room throughout. The garden is sweet and, although we didn’t have fantastic weather, we enjoyed looking through the French windows and watching the birds. We did get to sit out in the deck once, which has good quality outside furniture. We really enjoyed the art on the walls and fell so in love with the sheep footstool, we went out and bought one to bring home! Only tiny downside was the hard mattress but that’s totally personal taste (we’re obviously wusses), otherwise one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in.

A very special, peaceful retreat
Spotlessly clean. Everything at hand to make a stay perfect. Clear instructions and guidelines to help newcomers to renting, like us. As we approach 80 years of age we are fussy about the mattress on the beds. We need not have worried, we slept better than we do at home Thank you to everyone who made this short break so memorable.

Perfect Easter Holiday

Well equipped bungalow in a quiet convenient location.enjoyed our stay wish it had been longer.The welcome pack was very much appreciated . We sincerely hope to return again next year.One minor quibble the patio decking could do with a bit of TLC. Otherwise Brilliant. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends.

We had a beautiful and perfect stay in Moelfre. The home is wonderful with every thing you could ever need. I could not fault it in any way. Amazing shower, modern kitchen, comfy beds. The welcome hamper was amazing - local produce and something for everyone - very thoughtful, thank you so much. There was also toys to entertain the kids and a well maintained sunny garden. We would love to stay here again.

What a lovely village!
This lovely little bungalow on a quiet residential street had everything we needed for our short break. It was in easy walking distance of the lovely bay where the welcome in the pub was fantastic. Great little shack selling freshly made ice-cream in many tasty flavours. Would definitely recommend to any family or small group of friends.
