An easy but rewarding trek to Colţii Bisericuţei Peak (1322 m). In Moeciu de Sus, look for Poiana Soarelui B&B ['Pensiune' in Romanian]. When you find it, turn right. Make your way up the trail, through the forest. After about 10 minutes, you will only continue through meadows. The views are spectacular!

"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. "There were some cosmetic things that needed to be done like the hallway before you entered the apartment needed to be patched up because in the ceiling there was a hole in it . And one of the bathrooms after someone used the Toliet it left a bad smell and the address when trying to find the apartment the first time took us to the wrong place until I had to contact the landlord to get the address overall the place was nice and had a nice view"

While the outside appearance is a bit modest, it is typical of the surrounding area - an older city block but with immediate access to many great tourist activities. "Modern, clean comfortable with outstanding staff. The best moment for us was when we arrived we were given a private tour of the hotel by a staff member who was amazing!!! He was brilliant and made us feel at home. He gave so many interesting details about the hotel and what was there before it was built as well as history of the town. He and his family are from Ukraine and their story is amazing. From Los Angeles to Ukraine, much love!!!!"
