The home was so lovely and suited the two of us very well with plenty of extra space to ourselves. Coded/ keyless entry made things very easy and convenient, and the location was fantastic.
Sweet little vintage home that is uniquely positioned near downtown Oakdale. We felt very comfortable in this home and found it had everything we wanted and comfortable beds too! We had a lovely stay!
The house is nice and although older is well maintained. The hosts are thoughtful and prompt in replying to messages. Would definitely recommend this location.
Really well appointed home very close walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed our stay! The home was a great place to relax! It was a hot day in Oakdale but the house was nice & cool as the owners made sure the air conditioner was on when we arrived.
The house is old and very charming. It has plenty of space for families.
Beds are comfortable.
There is A/C and it helps but it is a little tricky to get the rooms cool without fans. The back bedroom is very warm. Lovely stay though .
Here's the positives: The location for this home is really perfect for being in town and close to everything. The owner is prompt to respond to all messages. Check in is easy. There is a designated parking spot too. The house was clean, but not "detail" clean. There were dried up contact lenses on the nightstand from previous guests.
Here's the negative: The listing lists 2 bathrooms, but the main bath that is shared (JACK/JILL SYTLE) which is not mentioned in the description, has little to no water pressure. We couldn't use the sink or shower, so all 4 adults had to share the other bath which is also on the other side of the house. This was extremely inconvenient. Lastly, this is the central valley, and it gets HOT. Especially in old houses like this. There is a note stating they want the A/C to be set at 72-76 degrees due to the electric bill. Each time we would turn it down below 72 (because it got hot) it would eventually turn back to 72+ degrees. I would have given a 4-star review, but the bathrooms situation for 3 nights was pretty sucky.
Perfect place with 3 bedrooms for 3 brothers. Lots of room with all the basics available. Location was great, near restauants and bars. No complaints. Really liked to house.
Had family over for visit and had plenty of room. Didn’t go out the back door to much was afraid the screen door might fall off and going through the back fence shrubs needed trimming. Over all though the house was nice. Love the old homes they have character and the front porch was cool. Would stay again,
