"Rarely in our travels have we found such a well stocked, well planned and executed vacation rental! The experience is built around a gigantic enclosed porch that offers a stunning view of Lake Burton's beauty! Beneath the porch, lies a well manicured lot offering hammocks, swings, fire pit and an easy walk down to your private dock and boathouse. The included canoe and kayaks are easily launched and open up easy access for getting on the water.Back at the house, the master bedroom opens onto the porch allowing the wonderful view 24/7. The downstairs mini master has it's own view and easy access to the outside activities. i.e. ping pong, grilling and corn hole.Perhaps the greatest surprise was the degree to which every subtle detail had been taken care of. For example, we had full DISH service offering Internet a full array of programming and music channels. As compared to the more common practice of giving you internet access and requiring you stream your own content. There was also a working landline with contact numbers for local hospital, vet clinic and emergency contacts.Suffice to say, we were very pleased with our long weekend stay and look forward to coming back in the near future....!P.S. Our golden retriever, Lizzie gave it 5 paws !"

"Can’t express the house or view in and way that will do it justice… you just have to see this stunning house with it’s spectacular view yourself. While I could go on and on about the amenities, the one thing I would point out is all of the extra little touches that mean a lot when renting a home away from home. From the inviting ambiance created upon arrival to the bathrobes and slippers for every guest, to the fully stocked paper products and kitchen. It was so much so that we could just “be”. We will be back!"

"We enjoyed our weekend stay in this home. It is small, but comfortable. We arrived in the rain & dark, so we had some difficulty finding the house number, but once inside, we settled in nicely. "

"My family of 12 visited from Florida and had the most wonderful stay at Knot Done. The aesthetic of the home was absolutely perfect. The view of Lake Burton was to die for. We had a conversation with fisherman boating by in a bass fishing tournament right from the sliding window of the dining room! The decor was mixtures of worldly collections and antique pieces, but with a perfectly modern kitchen and amenities. The home was large and cozy at the same time. The Sleep Number bed in the master bedroom was a 10/10. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My mother loved being able to play the piano and loved using the music books provided. My nephew bought a fishing pole at a local bait and tackle shop and had a wonderful time fishing off of the dock’s upper deck. The screened in patio was the most enjoyable place to drink our morning coffees. We would absolutely stay here again!"
