"Beautiful resort right on the water- you can wade out and snorkel! Restaurant overlooks water. Super friendly staff. They accommodated our early Canyoneering excursion by offering either breakfast to go or to have it when we got back (when breakfast time had past!). A 5 minute walk takes you to beach area where you can wade in a snorkel to see sardines and sea turtles! "

"We had an enjoyable stay at D'Gecko Hotel. The location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Regarding the slippers to be used in the room - we thought this was a good idea to avoid common areas getting sandy/dirty - however we just wish they'd provided larger sizes of slippers!"

"Good: The Oasis is a lovely property, beautiful pool area. Breakfast was great, girl serving it was super sweet. Rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Less than great: 1) I personally would not stay here due to it being a good 15 min walk in blistering sun to get to main town area. You can rent a scooter, but parking in town is not always easy. It was also raining a lot when we were there. It would be better to stay walking distance from the action unless you want complete...

"The Sea Turtle Resort offered a quiet peaceful setting on the ocean with a great staff. It was a scenic scooter ride into town through the country side where Moalboal awaited with plenty of restaurants, beach and bars."

"A nice hotel on a spectacular reef. Unfortunately we were unable to dive due to illness but the snorkeling was just fine, over the course of 2 days we saw 5 turtles, a sea snake, lots of sea horses and many fish. The bed was just ok, and breakfast was average but sufficient. A short tricycle ride to town. "

"Traveling with my wife and two kids. Very old outdated property. During our stay, the water went out. The water have to be delivered to the hotel and pumped into water tanks. Then are not attached to city supply or have their own well. The pump burned out and no standby replacements. So we could not use the bathroom for anything. The door the bathroom is busted. The door frame is broken like someone kick it in. The hotel manager refused to refund our money when they had no other room to...

"Perfectly located, walk to bars or the beach in just a couple minutes. Hot showers, great Aircon and a STUNNING pool!! We had a very brief stay but when we were there the staff were so friendly and made the experience even better!"

"My partner and I booked a five day stay at this private bungalow. It was very simple to find a taxi in and out. We were able to go to the Kawasan Falls with all the information in our room to do so. Good Internet. Very well kept landscaping. Beautiful flowers. The hosts were very friendly and helped with anything we needed.
