"What I liked about the hotel was that it had its own sand covering experience because Kagoshima is known for this experience but usually at another location. The thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the bathtub water faucet was leaking water and making the bathtub dirty. Also if you are not use to sleeping on tatami style bedding it’s going to be hard to get a good sleep. "

"The hotel is so big and has a large indoor and outdoor onsen plus sand steamed bath. It is quite entertaining. It is located right in front of the sea and the view is spectacular. It is very remote and quiet area so nice place to relax."

"着いた時からチェックアウトまで、レセプションの方々がいつも感じよく素敵なホテルでした。 更に、今回こちらの不注意で忘れ物をしてしまったのですが、夜中にも関わらず大変親身になって探してくださったり、見つかってからも素早く対応していただき、本当に感謝しています。 他の口コミにある様に確かに古いですが、清潔で手入れは行き届いている様に見えます。 部屋からの景色も良く、プールも楽しめましたし、砂風呂もとても気持ちよかったです。 おすすめします！"

"Located far from city, near a port. Check-in was fast and staff were polite and friendly. Room was of good size with 2 single and a bunk bed for 3 adults. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simple Japanese fare but excellent quality and service. Parking was convenient with attached multi-storey carpark. Just that its a little far."

"The stay was wonderful. The customer service is spectacular and a lot of people spoke english. Their hot springs are immaculate and provide you with a spa like experience. Although they don’t sand springs at the property they provide shuttle that take you there and back. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable and the store doesn’t really have any heatable food. We had to walk to the nearest convenience store which was about a 10 minute walk."

"A very good hotel. A most wonderful experience. Room was comfortable. Onsen was awesome - the size and the space. Sand bath was an interesting experience - quite fun to do as a family. The highlight was the kaiseki dinner - delicious. "
