"Hotel is located near the bus stop which makes it easy to catch the bus from Shin-Fuji station if you arrive by Shinkansen. View of Mount Fuji from the hotel room was amazing! Very glad I picked the room with the Mount Fuji view. Staff were very friendly. There is a strict 3pm check in however you can leave your luggage if you arrive early. You just take off your shoes when entering past the lobby up to your room. You must give you shoe locker and room keycard at front desk whenever you leave the hotel. This is a good system to make sure you don’t lose your room keys when traveling outside. Free breakfast was included and it is common Japanese style breakfast buffet. Coin Laundry is great as there is also a dryer. "

"Very nice facilities (pool, tennis etc.) which are great for the kids. The resort is conveniently located close to Fujiten Snow resort, 12 km away. "

"My husband and I visited Lake Shoji for the first time in January. It was a rainy day when we checked in so we could not see Fuji San, but the warm welcome we received made up for the lack of view, even before we checked in, a very very kind employee helped us back into our parking spot. He also took our luggage in to the lobby. The desk employee was very kind and was willing to work with our limited Japanese. The owner even gave us a cup of tea and chocolates when we first arrived they also gave us many travel itinerary suggestions for the local area. We went with a traditional Japanese style room. It was very cozy, and spacious for the two of us in the morning rewarded with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Lake Shoji is the least developed of the Fuji Lakes, and unfortunately this hotel does not offer any dining options (they are working on it tho!). I highly suggest eating dinner before you check in or making sure you bring food with you. "

"The hotel is close to train station. Very convenient. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are sufficient. Staff was very helpful as we checked in. They provided luggage storage for the day as we were out sightseeing."

"We stayed here for two days. Next day after check in, they didn’t clean the room and when I asked there is a lot of waste in the room, they asked me to clean. I was surprised! But can’t say anything, maybe it is their hotel rule to ask customers to clean their rooms."
