"Wonderful luxury hotel in the best location near the pedestrian area and all the shopping as well as parks and baths The reception staff are amazing and incredibly helpful The breakfast was “ok”… the food spread was not bad although you expect more from a 4 star hotel and the staff are friendly and work very hard but ….. it seems a bit disorganized and the kitchen bit slower in responding to guest requests such as eggs , coffee etc…otherwise no complaint Rooms are extremely nice, cozy, romantic and very clean All in all highly recommended and a must repeat for our next visit to Baden Baden …"

"Service and staff were excellent. Old style hotel with no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up some steep stairs. Breakfast was wonderful and the garden was so beautiful. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The best! I’m a frequent guest at Aqua Aurelia. Probably have stayed there 25 times and it is always consistent and good. Really good. I don’t have staff names correct, but two women and guys are always great - Gi, Kathy, Rene, and guy that works both desk and restaurant, as needed. "

"Breakfast was wonderful with very efficeint staff. Room had a great balcony overlooking spas. Short walk to spas. Found M10 around the corner great food. Also found Griffins Irish Pub and had too much fun. "

"We had a four night stay at the Mercury and it was an excellent choice of hotel. The team on Reception were so helpful and friendly - going ‘above and beyond’ to help us. The breakfast was delicious and the team in the restaurant worked hard to ensure the buffet was well stocked with a nice range of breakfast treats. The hotel enjoys a central location and is just 5 minutes walk from Leopoldsplatz, the centre of the town, so it’s really convenient. We enjoyed early morning walks (and runs) on the Lichtentaler Allee - a beautiful tree lined walk along the river, which starts about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The bedroom was a good size, although our bathroom was quite cosy (apparently some of the other rooms have bigger bathrooms). We will definitely be returning to Baden-Baden and will certainly be looking to stay at the Merkur, which offers excellent value for money. "
