Although pleasant, the staff were slow to respond for customer check in and inquires. The pool area was dark both day and night, so I didn't know if it was open or not. No water or ice was available in the room or common area. The included breakfast was disappointing (no meats or eggs). On Saturday morning there was a warm pan of sausage gravy but no biscuits!! Only 2 pieces of white bread were available, and this was 20 minutes before breakfast officially ended!! The bathtub/shower was old and dirty looking. We didn't use it. Bed was lumpy. Overall, the staff was friendly and the room adequate. If you're on a budget, it's a decent place to stay, but forget about any extras, including ice and potable water. Also, do yourself a favor and get breakfast elsewhere.

It's a pet hotel so it's pretty run down but what are your options when traveling with animals. it was fine, just keep expectations low.

After driving 12 hours, the staff at this 'pet friendly' hotel asked what kind of pet I had. When I said I had a cat, he said "No Cats". I had to persuade him and pay an additional $20 fee to spend the night, otherwise I would have had no alternatives. If they only accept dogs, they are 'DOG' friendly, not pet friendly.

The bathroom shower curtain was moldy and did not connect at both ends with the result being a lot of water on the floor and leaking out into the hallway. This is room 237. The bedding was not clean. You should qualify what breakfast is. It is more a continental breakfast. The coffee was bad, the biscuits were terrible. The gravy had hardly any sausage. I chose not to eat there the next day and looked for alternate dining. The price was outrageous at over $400 per night. I would not have minded paying that if the accommodations were quality . But the hotel was a huge disappointment. Staff had children running around. There is no elevator. The room smelled bad - stuffy, stale and seemed like someone had been smoking. I will not ever stay at a Wyndham-branded hotel again.

The location was close to where we needed to go in South Bend which is why we picked this hotel. We asked for first floor, but there were no rooms available. There is NOT an elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs. The coffee was weak and the breakfast food was very limited.
