"Le Clos St. Paul was absolutely lovely. Our cottage was charming- well appointed and decorated. Very comfortable and with thoughtful amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on premises as well. The owner was warm and welcoming. We dined a a restaurant that was about 15 minutes away. (There is not much closer.) We stayed at Le Clos St. Paul after visiting two chateau earlier in the day. Again, lovely accommodation. "

"Owners were very nice, property outside was a little run down. Room was cheerful but no AC, they provided a fan. Breakfast was good but a little awkward and ar extra charge. No shower but tub has hose wand, good hot water. Short walk to Monet's house and gardens. Eat early at least by 5pm as all the shops and restaurants close at 6pm except for the hotel a shorr walk away."

"I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. "This hotel is a great option for a quick trip to Giverny. It's about a 15 minute drive. The town of Vernon is clean and walkable. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. They did not let us check in early without paying a lot more. It would have been nice to get in just an hour earlier as I had been traveling for 24 hours, but the other places we stayed were much more flexible. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again."
