"I was looking for a really relaxing stay in Misasa and this hotel did not disappoint! There's a great sense of calm at the Saiki Bekkan, from the vast, carpeted main lobby with its dramatic glass wall overlooking the traditional garden to the spacious and multi-roomed accommodation. "The Ryokan is located by the side of the river with a verdant forest in the back ground. This makes it a picturesque view from my room window. The sound of the flowing river makes for pleasant & soothing ambience. The onsen radium rich water is unique to this area & is supposed to have therapeutic efficacy. The onsen village centre's street has some interesting shops to discover. Slight down side, the ryokan is dated & needs some sprucing up. "
