We had a wonderful stay at Angel Rest. The owners are very kind and helpful. We cooked in their kitchen, showed them some of our cuisine and got taught making crab curry. Its just 200m to the beach and 800m to the supermarket. The rooms and bathroom are new, bed is comfortable. We added two extra days.

THE CHECK OUT IS AT 1130.WE WAS AT WHALE SAFARI AND CAME BACK AT 1200 AND THE HOTEL GAVE US TIME TO CHECK OUT UP TO 1300 WITHPUT ANY CHARGE

It was a shame we were only staying the one night as this was a beautiful house with a gorgeous floor to ceiling water feature in the entrance lobby. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The food was delicious and I recommend the owner's homemade dessert watalappan

Erst einmal tausend Dank an Upul und seine Familie. Sie haben wirklich alles für uns gemacht und wir hatten wirklich das Gefühl ein Teil der Familie zu sein. Upul hat uns eine sechs Tage Tour durch Sri Lanka organisiert. Er hat ein gut funktionierendes Netzwerk an allen tollen Orten des Landes und die Reise war großartig. Noch einmal tausend Dank für alles.

Tæt på stranden og hval-safari-bådene
Angel Rest er et lille hyggeligt familiedrevet hotel. Værtspaprret og deres børn er meget hjælpsomme og i imødekommende. De hjælper gerne med at booke en hvalbåd eller en transfer til lufthavnen. Man kan spise morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad på stedet - til rimelige priser. Det smager dejligt og portionerne er store. Der er bare 5 minutters gang ned til hvalbådene, men om morgenen blev vi alligevel hentet med tuk-tuk. Stranden er ligeså tæt på bare den anden vej. Bølgerne er lidt store til børn, men for dem der vil i gang med at lære at surfe er de perfekte. I boede der i to nætter og fik ikke ordnet værelset, men vi skulle måske have bedt om det? Der er ikke mulighed for at lave sin egen te eller kaffe på værelset. Alt i alt havde vi et par gode dage her og vil gerne anbefale stedet som et godt og billigt sted at bo i Mirissa. Vi fik brug for en sen indtjekning da vores hvaltur trak ud, men det gav ingen problemer - kun SMIL og forståelse. Så mange tak til Angel Rest
