"Just superb. The rooms were comfortable , the breakfast more than excellent and the best part was the vaporetto into Venice stops in front of the hotel. The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

"Ok! This place is a hidden gem!!! And i do mean hidden it is down an alley that most people would avoid! But i say this to you my friend! GO DOWN THAT ALLEY!! The rewards are more well than you can imagine! This hotel is an amazing kind and remakably cool place. It reminds me of a really upscale brothel in design. But the kindess of the staff is unparalleled. And the breakfast was amazing and the beds were awesome ... just sayin i liked this place"

"The location of the hotel is great! Staff were wonderful and friendly. Front desk Marteno was awesome! Super helpful. Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. Location was everything. "

"Great location in Venice, very close to all the main sites and transport. Staff were super helpful, polite and made me feel welcome, thank you. The room was quite small but everything worked fine and suited a weekend stay. Be aware that the hotel is close to the main tourist areas so can be noisy in the evening. Breakfast was a good selection and there is a great view of Ponte di Realto from the balcony."
