About this property

CG34 Medium 20X35 ft. Campsite/Shower - Kings Canyon & Sequoia NP

HOT showers, flushing toilets, WiFi and pets stay for free!!!

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars at more than 4000 feet in Pinehurst, California. We have over 10 acres of stunning campground just 15 minutes from the north entrance to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Centrally located between the two National Parks makes it convenient to explore Kings Canyon, rest up and continue your adventure in Sequoia (or the other way around).

After a fun filled day, come back to camp and gaze all the way down into the Valley while watching amazing sunsets unfold. The show doesn't stop there. Enjoy the view of twinkling city lights down below, but don't forget to look up at the stars. When the sun and satellites align, guests may witness a string of Starlink satellites cruising overhead.

We have multiple sites to accommodate every type of camping from tent camping to tents-attached-to-cars and trucks, to pop-up campers to RVs with or without power and water hookups. Please see our RV hook-up spaces on our sister posts! (RV1 and RV2).

At 4000 feet, we are high enough to feel a 10 degree temperature drop from the valley floor, and low enough to not worry about persistent snow during the winter months.

We look forward to seeing you soon at Sequoia Mountain Farms!!! :)

Please message us for any questions! We are happy to help! We want you to have the best experience possible, so if we can help, we definitely will!

Great value and location
Value of campground was great! Wish there were some things I knew sooner. When the shower water ran cold, wish I knew to change the propane tanks myself. The roads are dusty and the porta-potties smelled bad. Other than that, it was great and we had a good time. Thanks for allowing us to have a small fire camp.

Couldnt find property - no communication from host- waste of money
I wish I hadn't wasted money on booking this- I couldn't find the property, the host was unresponsive, and I had to book elsewhere making this reservation a waste of money.

Basic camping with a good view
Stayed for two nights with husband and 4 year-old daughter for a trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. We arrived about 5.30pm but there was no response from the host so it took us a while to figure out how to get to the camping sites. Andrew later told us that our messages via Vrbo don't get to his cell directly. More signs at the entrance or information on Vrbo for finding the right place would be helpful. Once we found the right camp site we were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset, which was great. There was a water faucet 5 minute walk uphill from the tent, 2 portable toilets and 3 outdoor shower rooms. My husband said the shower water felt like it was completely cold. The toilets were pretty dirty the first night, but got cleaned the second day and were fine. The water faucet was placed on a weird upslope so it was hard to stand still and water would splash quite a lot. The second night there was terrible weather forecast so we were offered to stay in the house next to the camping ground for $150/night. We didn't end up using it but it was a nice option if weather is not good for camping. However, we lost water all night and all morning, and we had to park our car up the hill about 10 minute walk from the tent because we were told it would be too slippery to drive up, so it was pretty much a dry camping experience. Overall I'd say it's an ok experience if you are an experienced camper and don't expect much more than a view and a tent site.

No trailer or motor homes
It shows flat land and availability for campers and trailers. We get there and it's very difficult to maneuver with a trailer. There is no flat land We couldn't even unhook our trailer from our truck because it was so uneven. We had to leave. Once we got in cell service contacted Verbo and the owner for a refund and no one would help us. The owner called me once and then never responded again. Verbo kept saying you need to talk to thw owner and I requested a call from a supervisor and still waiting for a call. This place would be great for tent campers but not for trailers and motor homes.

This peaceful get away from the busyness of everyday life is just everything! Truly the best camping experience I have ever experienced! The owner of this property makes sure you know he is there for any questions or concerns his guests have. He would randomly walk the sites and check in and see if anyone needed anything. He offers a few things to buy like ice and farm fresh eggs for a fair price. The camping spots were very spacious with a very nice sturdy picnic table and there were so many options to pick from. The sunsets at this location are absolutely breath taking! And I cannot brag enough about the HOT showers here! They are outside that are completely closed in except for the roof so your get to look up to the open blue sky or stars and trees. These showers at the end of exploring the national parks and whatever adventures from the day are a game changer for camping outside. I also learned the owner loves dogs, so he has built kennels for the guests to have their dogs in if needed with dog houses and water bowls that auto pour out. I will definitely be back with my dog, and I know she will LOVE this place as much as I do. There is also a small pond area that guest can fish at, and he has bass in this pond, and we had the pleasure of catching one and releasing. I cannot recommend this location enough!
