Perfect location
Great location directly on the water. Very responsive to the few issues we had. Second bedroom could have better mattresses. Parking is tight. But wonderful stay.

I had to book later than I would have normally due to circumstances beyond my control so I wasn't sure what to expect. This condo exceeded my expectations. There were a couple of little things that I texted James about and he was very receptive and attentive I would stay here again in the future.

Great vacation!
This property was great. Completely as advertised. Great location. Everything was clean and spotless. The house could use a few upgrades but it was perfect for what we needed. Jim was readily available and was hands on with any questions we had. Great host and great house. We will definitely be back.

Only complaint I had was that it would’ve been a cleaner unit. There was sand all over the place. In the bed sheet, the floor of the shower and the stairs from the bedroom to the main levels. A few loose tile on the stairs but we had a great time and would come again!!

Great location
Me and my four kids stayed here this past week and it was really great. The location was so convenient, we walked wherever we needed to go. The beach is right there, no crossing the road! The balconies were really nice to enjoy breakfast and coffee on and the outdoor shower was super convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location - Unit needs work
I want to start by saying that the owner was very quick to respond to questions and very easy to work with. We've stayed at several Sanddollar Townhomes and unfortunately, this unit doesn't shine like the others we've stayed in. While surfaces that the cleaning crew would be dealing with regularly were clean, the walls, vent covers, light fixtures etc. were very dirty. It honestly seemed like any work that was done in the property was done by whoever's bid was lowest, not based on the quality of their work. I wish I would have actually read some of the other reviews prior to booking, instead of just looking at the rating number - 5 stars for location kept the score high. The unit served it's purpose for us but I wouldn't stay here again. It needs a complete overhaul. We actually took sheets off of a bed we were using and put them on the couch and chair so we could feel OK sitting on them. I don't like giving this review given James was great to work with but it is what it is. The location is fantastic.

The star of the show is the beach - beautiful views and steps from the water. Th unit is equipped ok and the pictures are accurate - not a fancy interior but fine for lounging at the beach

The views and beach were amazing - parking was horrible the spots are VERY narrow and there were 3 pickup trucks parked next to each other and you can’t open doors - the space was dated and pretty dirty - walls had dirt on them and felt pretty grimy and bad part was there were no cleaning products at all to even wipe down things

There was a few things that needed to be done to the condo, definitely upgrade the beds and furniture. There’s a mildew smell in the dishwasher and the linens didn’t smell fresh.

Traveled with family and small children
This is just an ok place to stay. Its very old. It has a really bad musty smell. Parking sucks. If you dont have a small car you arent fitti g no more then one vehicle. They say they have overflow parking at the restraunt next door but this simply isnt true for over night parking. After 10 pm your subject to towing. We had a large SUV and A full size truck. So we worried all night if our truck was going to be towed as they both wouldnt not fit in the parking. The beach was nice one of the best beaces for kids to swim. So if you dont mind old and musty and have a small car by all means this is the place for you to stay and enjoy the beach at a fair price.

Beautiful Location
Perfect spot right on the beach. The beach wasn’t crowded. Local shopping and food near by. Some walking distance. The place itself was clean, had everything we needed for cooking and hanging out on the beach. Plenty of spots to sleep and storage for clothes. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting the area.

Had a great time surf fishing just steps from the condo door. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from deck. Close to activities including deep sea fishing, great restaurants, and grocery stores. The condo is very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed our time.

Great location!
I've vacationed in the Destin area for about 25 years and I love it. I came across this property and some of the reviews had me concerned but I took a chance anyway. I'm glad i did. When you first get to the property, you will notice that the spaces are very narrow but it does state that in the description so don't be surprised if people on both sides have full sized trucks or SUV's and you have to crawl through the rear of your vehicle to back it up. I have never stayed this close to the beach! We loved how we could walk down 2 flights of stairs and be at the beach. Note for elderly or disabled persons, to enter the front it's 1 steep flight of stairs and to go to the beach is 2 flights of stairs out the back. It's so much more peaceful to have a private beach like this. At a resort, dozens of people are constantly walking past you and whatnot, kicking up sand on you or worse, falling on you. None of that here. We were not bothered 1 time on the beach. The inside of the condo was clean and everything seemed to work but the ice maker. The owner was nice enough to post a note that it was broken and supplied ice trays. It was comfortable and supplied everything I've come to expect for that price range. 1 reviewer had mentioned cocroaches. Here's the deal on that. These giants are referred to as palmetto bugs but they don't carry the diseases of their German cousins. Sometimes they accidentally get inside and could unnerve someone that don't know what they are. Don't write a bad review because you don't know what you're taking about. I had the occasion to contact the owner a few times and I got an almost immediate response every time. He was easy to talk with and is very serious about the service you receive during your stay. We had a great time and can't wait to go back again.

No frills inside. BEST deck and beach access
Wow! What a stay. We spent January and February in unit 19A There are three levels of decks, all with plenty of space, chairs and a table on main level. These things were the best of the townhome by far. Communication with owner was always good. Responded if something was needed. WiFi worked great. We set up our Alexa and Fire Stick and used without issue. Zoom meetings we had also worked fine. When I said no frills I am referring to the look and feel of the unit. It was clean, arranged well, plenty of furniture and utensil in the kitchen with Keurig coffee maker. If you are looking for pretty or fancy with crisp painted walls and fancy decor, plush sheets and towels- you won’t be happy. King bed was comfortable and our guests said the queen bed sunk in the center but tolerable. The overall cost was for the entirety of our stay and the look and feel are not important. Bottom line , management, cleanliness, basic necessities and our safety and security were needs that were all met. THE DECK was incredible. The easy walk on to the beach was great. You have probably read about the parking so be aware. Nothing to be done about it so don’t judge it. It is manageable and be sure to back into your spot. Most of all we ENJOYED our stay with Sticks in the Sand!
