The hotel is a little out of the way, but I liked that. It wasn’t a busy hotel full of screaming kids. Breakfast was pretty standard, nothing amazing, but was able to find something each day. The staff were mostly friendly. The beds were probably some of the worst I have ever slept on. Extremely uncomfortable, hard, thin, just bad.

Our room wasn't cleaned very well prior to occupancy. Bathroom mirror and TV screen were covered with water spots and spray. Corners in bathroom were dirty. Bathroom sink did not drain well; probably partially blocked with hair.

The hotel room was clean and the staff were very pleasant. There was an unpleasant odor in the room and in the hallways. The elevator was out of order overnight and into the next day. We were on the third floor, so that wasn't fun. The stairwells needed a good vacuum. There were dead bugs and mud all over the carpets. The TV was acting up and would shut down every 16 minutes until it was finally rebooted and that ended the problem.

I had a nice stay at the Quality Inn in Minot, ND. Good service, friendly staff, clean room and hot breakfast!

None of the windows open whatsoever, so there is VERY little ventilation in the hotel in general and particularly in the room (313). The room itsself was so stuffy and musty smelling it was difficult to be in. Carpets felt damp and were tattered. No apparent fan or vent in the bathroom. When I asked about another room due to the smell, I was told they were "all pretty much like that", and it was suggested we prop the door open to allow more ventilation. Staff was friendly but not particularly helpful. Bed was confortable enough and sheets looked clean, just question the cleanliness of the headboard.

The only thing was the elevator had an unusual smell that was not pleasant at all. Even tho, staff put air fresheners in there, the smell still overpowered those.
