Fall adventure
Beautiful property and location. Needs to be deep cleaned. Windows were moldy and some rotten, screens were full of bugs and debris, lots of dust, cobwebs, and upstairs doors don't close cause handles are on backwards. We found left over bread, muffins, buns in a cupboard that were moldy so we discarded them with trash. The layout of house is great, views great. Just needs some TLC and to be cleaned. Also, maybe a sump pump runs all night? Loud humming in master on and off. Had to use ear plugs. The lake/dock are beautiful!!!

Family fishing getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay! The home had huge bedrooms to accommodate our families, so there was plenty of space for little ones. It was very clean and a beautiful location! The outside yard and dock was a great space for kids to play and shallow water to swim in. It was a relaxing place to enjoy the lake for the weekend!

Heaven on Earth
Being in the northwoods of Wisconsin is heaven on earth! This place was a perfect fit for our family of seven. We had such an amazing time boating and fishing! The fishing was great right off the pier! The water is so clean and clear and the sand was perfect for swimming. They had a new grill, two ovens and 3 bathrooms! Brian was such an awesome host making sure we were able to have a fun time even with storms coming through! He was so helpful with boat rental info and having paddleboards and a tube for us to use. Thanks Brian for being such a great communicator and host he is 5 star for sure! We look forward to working with him again!

Good Location - interesting smell
Stayed here for 4 nights a few weeks ago. Had a great trip. The place is really big and can sleep a lot of people. The location is awesome. The cooking utensils definitely need to be updated. Bring your own. The biggest downside we noticed was a really tough smell when we first got to the property. It smells like someone smoked in the past and has now been covered up by air fresheners. We opened every window in the whole place and after a few days it was much better.

Sibling Gathering
Size of house was sufficient, cleanliness was the biggest issue (cob webs where wall and ceiling meet as well as on floors around the edges of each room and windowsills, sheets, pillowcases and comforters were stained and worn and kitchen has very few utensils or knives). This property would be beautiful if taken care of in a professional manner.

Clear Water
The yard was flat and suitable for relaxing by the water and enjoying a lakeside campfire. Pan fishing was excellent. The lake home was comfortable and quite roomy. Could use a fish cleaning station.

Beautiful Northwoods home
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this home, it looks exactly like the online pictures, very spacious and lovely. The backyard is HUGE, and level to the shore. Great space for yard games. The shoreline is all weeds however, making it difficult to "beach" a kayak, paddleboard, etc. The lake is lovely and super clean, you will get beautiful sunsets to enjoy! We were a little disappointed that this home did not include any water toys, such as kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, etc. as many of the homes in this price point do. We also questioned the property manager about firewood...apparently this is supplied in the beginning of the season, but runs out quickly. It seems like a pretty easy thing to have delivered and supplied (enough for the whole stay) for each guest since the cost of the rental does not change at the end of summer. We had some similar issues as the guest before us. When we arrived the large garbage and recycling bins were full, and garbage had not been picked up for 2 weeks. As a guest, you are asked to put out the garbage bins on Wed night for a Thurs morning pickup. Well, that never happened for us either. On Friday morning we found 4 garbage bins torn to pieces all over the road probably from racoons, so we spent Friday morning shoveling up and re-bagging our garbage and the 2 guest's before us. And yes, the internet is VERY slow. Almost impossible to stream a movie. The house does have 5G, but guests are only given the password for 2G.

Beautiful Property for a Family Get Away!
The property is a beautiful cabin with plenty of space, large bedrooms, and several bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The screened in porch is a wonderful space with great airflow and comfortable seating. The living room includes many comfortable chairs, but the TVs in the cabin did not include any attached equipment making them for the most part unusable. The TV in the master bedroom had a similar issue. The decks and backyard were a nice space to spread out. There was a nice charcoal grill that was easy to use. The view from the backyard over the lake was beautiful and made the stay all that much more wonderful. There is a dock out over the lake that provided access to the lake. There was a little issue with a part of the dock sagging and unsteady when we first arrived, but the property management did send someone out to address the issue a little after a day after reporting the issue. They gave updates regularly about the status. There were some issues with the trash cans. One of the two outdoor bins was full when we arrived and we fill the second by the time they were suppose to be pickup the trash, but no trash pickup occurred. A possible suggestion to improve the rental property would be something like kayaks or a canoe with life jackets to better be able to enjoy the lake during the stay. Overall, the cabin was a great place for a family to enjoy some time together!

Amazing home in a great location.
We stayed with our adult children and some friends. The house was well stocked with linens, cleaning supplies and paper products. And there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The property manager was great about messaging back with any questions we had. Overall we had a great vacation. The house could have been cleaner. The yard could also use some attention. There was a newer grill for us to use, but the old broken one was left along side the deck. Some empty beer bottles in flower pots and whoever rented before us did not do the best job cleaning up after their dog.

Great Spot...But Soooo Frustrating
Our group of nine (young kids to older adults) had an easy check in to the house. The place is nice-- lots of light, good layout, great view of the lake. Great Lake. The first problem was only enough hot water for one hot shower and then a long wait for another hot shower. A couple days later we found out this was probably connected to the EMPTY propane tank that fuels the hotter heaters. We discovered this after noticing a strong smell of gas near the stove. Long story short: The gas company came, refilled the propane tank. But there was still a smell of gas. They did a test and found a small leak and advised us not to use the stove (scary). They shut off the gas to the stove but kept on the hot water heaters. So, after 3 days, we finally had sufficient hot water. The gas co came back the next day. And they couldn't find the gas leak. So we were without a stove for half the stay. And we had to be there for the gas company to come, for parts of 2 days. Where was the owner during all this? We don't know. We texted with him and talked on the phone a couple times. He essentially said we were making up the hot water problem, that no one ever had that trouble before. But the empty propane tank explained that eventually. Anyway, we were refunded for 1 of 6 nights we stayed. We felt we should have gotten half back: gas leak, no stove, little hot water. The owner/mgmt co that runs this was not hospitable.

Peaceful retreat
My family of 5 and our dog stayed at this great cabin on a super clean lake. We loved everything about it. It was so quiet and relaxing and the kids had a blast fishing and swimming (so did the dog!!). My husband and I spent our nights enjoying the deck and the open back yard that looks over the lake. There were some mature oak trees around the deck and we ended up nick-naming this cabin “the falling acorn”. It made for some great stories since we never knew where they were going to fall. We cooked several meals in this great kitchen and on the rainy nights spent time in the open living room enjoying our time there with the kids. We will definitely be planning another trip here!
