Overall we have positives feedback on the space and working with the property manager. The best thing about the unit is the location. It’s awesome that there is a parking spot available, especially once winter starts. In the summer, this place would be a rock star spot. It’s nearby two of the best lakes (Isles and Calhoun), it’s 1/2 block from a grocery store, and the restaurants and shopping in the area are great. The unit allows dogs, which is helpful and appreciated. There is ample area to walk your dog as well.
The biggest negative is the noise. Although the main level unit is an awesome spot in the city, it’s at the worst spot for noise. It was too bad the unit wasn’t on the other side of the building. It’s an old building which is fun for character, terrible for noise protection. It’s right on a main road so morning traffic is loud and drunk people at night walking home from the bars can be annoying. People in the building are really rude with slamming the front door too. You can only hear that if you’re in the living room, not really from the bedroom.
The unit itself was overall nice. Not a big space, but we’ll decorated. There was a few maintenance issues when we were there, but the property manager was responsive.
Overall we would stay there again if in the area. We just couldn’t give it five stars because of noise, which isn’t in their control. The spot faces a very busy street, it is what it is. If you like walkability though, this is perfect!
