Perfect Accommodations
My colleagues and I stayed at this property during a downtown conference. Getting a ride back and forth from the conference center was easy and the house provided enough space and privacy for everyone. There were PLENTY of exceptional take-out dinner options nearby so we could enjoy meals post-conference in one of the many charming spaces in the home. Our host was lovely and responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Fabulous in Minneapolis
It is a beautiful home in a great location. We comfortably slept 10 adult women for a girls' reunion. The house was well-appointed and very functional, having everything you needed. We were able to walk to Starbucks, the grocery, the sculpture garden, and the farmers market.

Andrea’s Wedding
Perfect property as home base for a wedding. 6 grandchildren ages 5-10 moved into the 3rd floor bunk room and discovered the air hockey table in the basement. They asked if we could come back there for Christmas. Bridal party had their hair and makeup teams come in house to prepare for the big day. Could not have been more perfect for our family wedding weekend! Thank you

Absolutely amazing!
The property is immaculate! A beautifully restored turn of the century home that offers all modern amenities and comforts. It was large enough for us all to have our own space but plenty of gathering places where we all could fit. The neighborhood is gorgeous and walking distance to tons of restaurants and coffee/tea shops. It was absolutely perfect!

Amazing and so comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for to get a large family together. We really had a wonderful time and the kids loved their area on the third floor. Definitely will come back when everyone is available.

Perfect for our birthday celebration with family
We were able to cook and serve special dinner for 16, sleep 12, hear piano recital performances, celebrate 90th birthday, play ping pong, air hockey, enjoy children’s park just across the street. Beautiful well built and renovated 1909 home. Many “smart” tv’s along with quiet spaces to enjoy. All of us wanted to go back at Christmas but was cancelled by host. 😥

Beautiful home!!!
We were in town for family celebration of my Mom’s 90th birthday. The house is stunning. It is spacious and a delight for all ages. Our 3 & 6 year olds loved the upstairs bunk room and the rest of the home is comfortable and spacious: enough room for everyone. Laura was very helpful in answering my questions and even had a jar of treats for the kids when we arrived! It is a short walk to the lake. Perfect for family reunion. Thank you Laura!!

Incredible vintage mansion!
This house is beautiful and grand and full of amazing details! It had oodles of space, the owners have thought of most everything, the outdoor space was so relaxing, and the teens were able to quickly get to the nearby lakes for swimming and paddle boarding. It was perfect for our family, but I would caution those with mobility issues or small children that there are lots and lots of stairs. Thanks for a great stay!

Graduation celebration
We recently spent five days at this beautiful property to celebrate my youngest son’s college graduation from the University of Minnesota. We had a large group, and there was plenty of room for all of us. House was well appointed and very comfortable just a block from the lake and a short walk to the market. The neighborhood is beautiful we would definitely rent again here.

Perfect in every way
We stayed at this property in January 2024 for a 50th birthday celebratory weekend. Everything about the home is exactly as pictured and perfect in every way. All bathrooms are well stocked with everything you might need. All beds are incredibly comfortable with nice bedding/pillows. I have stayed at many VRBOs and I have never encountered a kitchen so well stocked! We had so much fun exploring the home and it felt like such a treat to be able to stay in this beautiful property.

Lovely home, unfortunate hosting
Home and neighborhood were absolutely stunning. However communication with the host put a damper on our stay. The early check in fee felt exorbitant ($50/hour) considering the high nightly rate. Especially so as the host informed us the home was ready to go the night prior, so there was no additional burden on management for early check in. Also an inaccuracy in the listing caused an unpleasant check out. Our reservation reflected an 11am check out but the host began urging us to vacate the property at 10am. When I pointed out the listing error I was disappointed by the host’s reply. Wouldn’t stay again due to the hosting.

Amazing place / Wonderful owner
We had an amazing stay! We rented the home so our entire family could stay together during our son's wedding festivities. The home is beautiful yet comfortable. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked for a rental with all of the same gadgets I use in my own. We had great fun preparing family meals together in the large kitchen. The bedrooms were very cozy and comfortable. There were numerous sitting rooms in which groups of family members could sit and visit. The location was perfect.... there was a playground across the street and there were plenty of walking trails around the lakes for afternoon walks. Our grandson accidentally left behind a beloved stuffed animal at the home and Laura was kind enough to mail it to him. In short, it was a wonderful week! I will not hesitate to stay here again

There were 13 of us in the house for Memorial Day Weekend, all in Minneapolis to celebrate my 80th birthday. I had grown up on Lake of the Isles and wanted to be close by. The location of the house is great. Near the lake and also near Hennepin and Lake St, walking distance from a great grocery store and bakery. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated with a wonderful, well supplied upscale kitchen. The four master bedrooms worked well for our group of four couples. The five grandchildren enjoyed the bunk room area and were quite blown away by the house. Very cute. The outside space worked really well for us, and we spent much of our time out there as the weather was beautiful. If you have young children, there is a wonderful playground across the street. We were totally delighted with everything and recommend this property to all. Worth every penny.

We really enjoyed our stay here- a lovely and elegant home, beautiful furnishings, and yard, clean and fully equipped for making several meals. We were an extended family of 14 in town for a family event and it was just perfect for all. Plenty of room to be together but also space for privacy. Location is amazing. Everyone wants to stay again!

The house was good for what we needed for my husband's memorial with family-the downstairs bthrm sink faucets need repair & top floor bthrm repair was not painted prior to our stay-the house was family friendly-some areas were not cleaned very well-I would recommend more towels & it would have been nice to know that someone lives in the house out back-my son went out to question him & he told him he lived in the house out back-with 1 police & 1 retired federal agent in the house-it would be to everyone's benefit to know of a resident on the property. Everything went well & we enjoyed our stay-Thank you Laura

Stunning home and excellent communication
We loved our stay! The property is even better in real life than the photos depict. We rented this for our wedding weekend and hosted our out of town guests here and had our wedding party all join us to get ready here. Everything was perfect. Communication was always timely, friendly and accommodating … and little details like toiletries in every bathroom for both guys and gals was an extra special touch. This stunner of a 4-level home made our wedding weekend that much more memorable. Thanks!
