"The host and hostess were most hospitable. I enjoyed the time spent with Mr Kim in learning about the unique culture of Jeongju city. I did not realize I could manually control the heating. The temperature in the room was too warm. Otherwise, it was a most pleasant one night stay."

"It was a good short stay. Room is very clean and tidy. I checked in late but unfortunately i couldn't find the phone no to call in before checking in."

"great location to historical and tourist areas. the owner and family is helpful and caring when I am not well. the 6 bed dorm is a bit spacious which includes bathroom in the room itself. the hostel is clean. pls note that you need to climb the staircase if you slept on 2nd floor. nevertheless, the owner n family will help to carry your baggage."

"Property as expected, as advertised. Property is very clean and very quite-double glazing on all windows and doors. Caretaker is very attentive and very helpful even going over our expectation. Will definitely recommend others and will definitely coming back."

"Sarangroo was very quite and clean. This place is small and cozy. It was unique experience to sleep on heated floor. My family had a great time and would love to comeback. The owners were very friendly. I highly recommend this place."

"This was a different kind of stay for us. Room is tiny and you sleep on a heated floor. My husband has a bad back so I asked for padding. The manager not only gave me padding but sat with us to explain the rules of the hotel and went over a map of the village and where to go sightseeing, food and drinks. The bathroom was a challenge because the toilet and shower are in the same room and I feel like everything gets wet.However it's how most bathrooms are in korea. They also do not give full size towels its only a hand towel. I didnt mind this because it was a different experience. I gave a 5 star because overall it was beautiful, in the village, great staff and we were warm and comfortable. I do recommend to give this place a try."

"Staff was friendly and we didn't have any communication issues from check in to check out. The location was a good spot to walk to nearby tourists attractions. Restaurants and eating places were nearby too. It was easy to take buses to other places as bus stops were just nearby. Highly recommended to stay there. "

"Visited with parents during Christmas break. An absolute gem — we loved every small detail in the rooms and play areas, since it was really well decorated with Korean traditional hints everywhere. Also loved the breakfast options they provided us, the food was so good!!! I really want to visit again. Thank you staff for providing such a welcoming experience."

"A nice view of the KTX train station and mountain. Room had a microwave, washer, and styler (with a dryer function). Walking distance from the KTX train station. Bedroom, livingroom, balcony, and kitchen area all looked like a one bedroom apartment. Staff accoommodated requests with hospitality."
