"Whilst the hotel is a couple of miles from the city centre, the bus service was very good & right outside - the free voucher was much appreciated. Only suggestion would be better coffee in the room, either a nespresso machine (or similar) or even just coffee bags. "

"The general ambience of the hotel is very calm and pleasant. But it lacks attention to detail. Replenishment of the coffee was a bit lax. Decaf coffee pods replaced by normal and i’m not allowed to drink caffeine! The bed springs were sticking through and the hotel needs a refurbishment. The restaurant is okay fo breakfast but not for an evening meal. My big gripe is that management couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my concerns It’s convenient and staff try hard but … "

"The hotel room was great but there were no shower gels, shower caps and little things that you find in most hotels. Saying that, everything else was excellent and they had quite a good selection of vegan options on the in room service menu. Definitely would stay there again."

"Stayed for 1 night for my husband's birthday. Horwood house sent me options for additional extra's that I could add to our stay at a price such as cake etc. I chose not to add any thing on as they were quite expensive. Lots of parking on site & parking is free which is very helpful. Check in was super easy & quick. "Always stay here as the service is the best in MK! Had no clue you had to pre-book the carpark now as its a change of management. Having downloaded the app and tried to book the parking, it was fully booked! Note for next time. Also could have displayed it on the hotels.com website so customers are aware prior to travelling by car. "

"Booked as a night away to visit Cambridge with my two young children. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time which was disappointing but without having to ask we were offered free drinks and activity packs for the kids along with apologies. Cookies too! "Great hotel and friendly staff. I want to thank particularly the chef. At breakfast he offered halal chicken sausages using his own initiative. He was a black guy and would specifically say thank you to him. It was very kind gesture. Will definitely be staying again in the near future. "

"I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again. "

Very nice hotel and great staff

"It was great, when me and my dad first got there a lady who was dealing with a customer before, said she would be with us soon. Then a Chinese lady who's name I forgot to get came with a smile and greeted us. She was very professional, informative and friendly, was a pleasure to be served by her. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Love the fact that the door to get into the showerroom can also separate the toilet from the sink & shower for extra privacy if needed. Only thing about the room was because I booked a double bed with a sofa bed just in case the bed wasn't big enough for me and my dad. I expected to see a duvet cover and a sheet within it, which it wasn't. Could ofcourse asked for them but thankfully the bed was big enough for us to share. Breakfast was good, unfortunately no fried eggs or mushrooms but for a free breakfast can't nobody complain. Scrambled eggs and beans are okay, croissants are nice. Sausages are quite nice to but I feel the bacon was the best out of everything. Would definitely stop again in the future at some point if required. "

"Much needed short family break to go to Snozone, iFly, Cineworld, crazy golf and more. Hotel was the perfect location for this. Room was very comfortable and buffet brekfast was very good. "
