Great family run place to stay in Milos. Not the fanciest hotel but it was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. The brothers that run the hotel were very helpful and kind.

hotel rigas, what can i say? this hotel is incredible. christos and panos are so welcoming and helpful. within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. the hotel room is spacious, breakfast is amazing! if i ever come to milos, this is where ill be staying.

I don't always give a full 5 stars on my reviews, just because I know there is always room for improvement, but because of our experience here at Hotel Rigas, I will give it a solid 5! Starting with the location. It is located not far from the port of Milos you can walk from it. It may be about a 10-15 minute walk; that was our plan, but when we arrived, it was so hot that we took a taxi. It is near restaurants, bars, and a mini-market where you can purchase snacks and necessities. The hotel is across the street from the water; depending on which unit you get, you may have a view of the water. The room we got was on the side of the front of the hotel with a balcony with a view of an empty lot, where I enjoyed hanging out and watching the sunrise and listening to the birds chirping. We are a family of four, including two children, ages 14 and 12. Our room has a queen-sized bed, a bunk bed, and, as I mentioned, a balcony. Even with the bunkbeds, the room was still spacious and had plenty of room for our four luggage. The room was clean and very cozy. They had some nice small touches, like having a white wine with two glasses on the table and water in the mini-fridge, which was refreshing when we arrived in hot weather. What stood out the most were the owners! Panos was always there to help us with recommendations, and so was his brother Kristoff and their sweet mother! They even gave us cookies before we left! I do not have enough space to write more.

I split my time in Milos between two hotels. This quaint and very basic hotel was about a 10 minute walk to town/port. There is a beach with sun beds a 5 minute walk away. Our room was large with a comfortable bed, was clean and had a small kitchenette but no tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a good size but the shower was exceptionally small. Only body/hair wash was provided. Breakfast was fresh but was below average in terms of choice. The only hot food was eggs - scrambled one day then fried for the next two days. The hotel offered an all day boat trip around the island but there are lots of other options in town so shop around. I was disappointed with this hotel, especially the overinflated price for a basic two star hotel with no facilities and a one star breakfast - my fault for booking it! I didn’t find the location to my liking either. There are better and cheaper hotels to be found in Milos town centre and I’m glad I stayed in one for my last three nights on this lovely island.

Wonderful hotel run by a wonderful family
We really enjoyed staying here! It was the perfect location for us. It is located near a beach and between the conference center and the port. Our room had plenty of space for us and we lucked out with a large bathroom and patio. The hotel is run by a very nice family. They were always around to help with anything. They offered clean beach towels every day, helped with taxis, provided delicious breakfast, and they were a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend this hotel! Tip: "O! Hamos! Tavern" is a short walk away. It has the best food we tried in the area and is right across the street from a nice shallow beach with beach chairs (for a small feee) and beverages.

Overall we had a really nice stay. Was greeted by very friendly hosts they provided us with a map and suggestions. The hotel is less than a 10 min walk from the port, don’t follow google maps, but rather just take a left after the mining museum. Hotel is located between very nice restaurants that are within walking distance. Breakfast was great with a good selection of home cooked options. The room was nice and clean.

Loved Hotel Rigas! Wonderful little family built and run hotel. Clean, safe and close to town! They had great breakfasts and helped booked our excursions. Felt like part of the family. Great value and we would definitely go back!

This place is a small family owned business and its like a bed and breakfast. Our room was a little dated but the service and home made food for breakfast made up for it. It's in a convenient area, a 5 minute walk to the port, shops and food. We would definitely stay there again.

This lovely family run hotel was truly perfect! Brothers Panos and Christos made our stay very comfortable. They were so very helpful with suggesting places to visit and explore on the island, which restaurants to eat at, and always willing to share helpful tips. It felt like visiting with a trusted friend. Breakfast was always delicious with fresh hot coffee ready for us! The location was quiet and the atmosphere felt peaceful and calm. Loved our stay! Panos, Christos and their mother could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and friendly. There was a carafe of wine awaiting us in our room. They arranged for a beautiful birthday cake to be made for our son. There was a wonderful breakfast laid out every morning. And they gave us much good advice. Hotel Rigas was fantastic. First, the owners were wonderful. They helped set up transportation while on the island and even helped when my husband lost his wallet (which they found!). They seem to love what they do and want to make their guests happy. Second, the location on Milos was perfect. It is located a few minutes walk from Adamas which is a lively and beautiful part of the island. Many great restaurants and the central location for the bus, which we used a lot.
