We all had so much fun staying here. The house was amazing, clean and had fun toys for the kids to play with on the large patch of grass our front! Beautiful Views all around.. staying here makes me want to live in a beautiful home like this surrounded by farm fields!
We did a last minute getaway. Millsite Farmhouse really hit it out of the park. My wife loves history and the house even though built in 1895 felt like a top-end house infused with turn of the century touches and furniture. I loved the peace, serenity, and solitude. It served as our jump off to the Swell, Little Grand Canyon, and discovered local features like Millsite State Park (down the road), they were having a cattle drive right in front of the house and exploring old cemeteries. Planning on coming back. Thank you for everything 10/10.
We had a wonderful time staying at this historic property. Immaculate and exactly as described- the home has everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.
HISTORIC FARM HOUSE SUROUNDED BY WORKING FARMS AND 5 STAR AMINITIES INSIDE THE HOME.
THE HOLE FAMILY INJOYED THE STAY AND VOTED ON RETURNING NEXT YEAR. WE JUST HAD A GREAT TIME AT THIS PROPERTY
Our family really enjoyed staying in this property. It was a unique opportunity to see the amazing work that can be done to restore an old home and realize its full potential. The surroundings were beautiful, and the amenities were spot on. The host was very thoughtful and considerate and made our stay a very comfortable one.
Perfect nook if you love the outdoors, and adventure. Very well done vintage setting. Equipped with all the modern convinces, and much more. The communication was stellar, simplistic check in process. I highly recommend anyone take the opportunity to visit this beautiful home. What a pleasure to have had the honors. Thank you so much.

Best rental we have booked! We enjoyed a little bit of history while staying at the charming Millsite Farmhouse. Britt was an amazing host and included all the little touches to make it feel like home. She is quick at communicating which made booking easy. My family loved outside grilling, sitting at the picnic table and enjoying the amazing mountain views. Plenty of parking space for our side by sides with easy trail access. Would definitely stay again!
What a wonderful time. The house is the cleanest we have ever stayed in-not a speck of dirt to be found. It feels very airy and light with very high ceilings on the main floor. There was exquisite attention to detail in every aspect. Beautiful tile in the bathrooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Kids loved paddle boarding, the keurig was a hit, and ample towels, washcloths and little extras stocked in case you forgot yours (toothbrush, etc.). So amazing to stay in an “old” house that feels brand new. Our teenage girls were in love with it.
The old fashioned couches were not that comfortable but we weren’t home much to lounge as we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area based on Britt’s suggestions. She was very responsive and a wonderful hostess. Note to others the house is fenced separate from the surrounding farm but provides a wonderful green lawn space and covered porch in front and patio, table and brand new grill in back. Highly recommend.
