If you’re looking for a centrally located place between Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville and you only need a one bedroom. There’s no reason to stay anywhere else, you won’t regret it.

Is the perfect little getaway halfway between Brevard and Asheville. Spent three nights after picking up my daughter from summer camp for a mini vacation. Very quiet location. I will be back next year!

Unique Barn Cabin
This is a cute and comfortable getaway, set well back from the road and nestled in the trees to give it a very private feel. Hosts were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and activities in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!!

So cozy!
If you’re looking for a cozy and romantic stay that is in a GREAT location, clean, and private, this is it. The cabin is so cute and so secluded from the main roads, but it’s also 2 minutes away from an Ingles! It’s also the perfect middle place for visiting Pisgah National Forest and Downtown Asheville (30 minutes to both places from the cabin). The kitchen has a basic set of pots and pans, but there are not many cooking utensils (no rubber utensils for non-stick pans was not ideal) so I would suggest bringing your own spatula and cooking spoons. Other than that everything else was great!

Peaceful and Perfect Location
The barn is spacious with a lovely living area for relaxing. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed is comfy. Appreciated the binder with local recommendations for food and hiking. Couldn't believe the number of great breweries within a few minutes and hiking only 20 minutes away. Fabulous location, cozy place, would absolutely recommend staying here to be closer to the hiking.

Beautiful
We were just looking for a nice place to sleep and shower and ended up staying in the nights we were there. The pictures don't do it justice. It's so quiet and peaceful, and I wasn't expecting that level of cleanliness. We had everything we needed to make dinner and spend some time glued to the fireplace. It's a great location to quickly access Asheville or Pisgah. I've already recommended this to my parents and will gladly recommend to any other family or friends staying in the area.

This ‘barn’ was well decorated and super comfortable. It includes many amenities including a gas grill so we could make most of our meals from home. It was very clean and also quiet. Our only complaint was the lack of water pressure from the shower. Thanks for a great stay! I will definitely consider staying again if/when I’m back in the area.

Cozy Getaway
This cozy cottage is amazing! Absolutely perfect for a weekend of fishing, hiking or biking in the Pisgah. The gas fireplace quickly heats up the space for a warm respite after a long day of fishing on the streams. Highly recommended!

Charming little mountain spot
My partner and I loved this little spot. It’s perfect for two. The little fireplace is so cozy. I feel like all problems can be solved sitting in front of it. Hiking and breweries abound close by. It was a lovely, happy weekend in Mills River at the barn.

Plenty of room for two
My husband and I got away for the week to mountain bike and hike and this was a great place. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, deck and grill were nice and shed storage for bikes great. It was very clean inside. I gave 4 stars only for the deck chairs where the fabric has been outside and dirty. Maybe have different chairs that can be wiped down easily instead. Everything else about communication of hikes, food and the stay was excellent! Thanks much!

Great little place!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in July 2023. The house was as advertised. It has a rustic charm, but it was clean and and everything worked. Some highlights were the nicely renovated bathroom, soft towels and sheets, reliable internet, and effective AC controlled by a Nest thermostat. It’s close to a major road and neighbors are visible, but it still manages to feel secluded. Easy access to Asheville, Brevard, and Hendersonville. Several breweries and plenty of hiking and biking are nearby.
