Built in 2021, this cabin is a hidden gem at the base of Jack's Mountain on Penns Creek, a premier trout stream in central Pennsylvania. The cabin is on a stocked section with immediate access to the creek via a set of stairs. Fly Away Cabin is near an Orvis fly shop and has nearby access to snowmobile, four-wheeler and horse trails in a state park about 2 miles uphill from the cabin. 30 minutes from Bucknell University. 35 minutes from Susquehanna University. 1 hour from Penn State. The cabin is quiet, secluded, and away from city lights.

Beautiful cabin in the woods
We stayed at the cabin for the weekend since it was close to our daughters’ softball tournament. The cabin was clean and beautiful and the perfect spot to rest after a long day in the sun. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Had a nice relaxing weekend. House was very clean and comfortable. Right on Penns Creek. Husband was able to fish. Met the owner when he stopped by on Saturday morning. Very nice gentleman. Able to unwind and recharge. Pavillion with grill, table and propane fire pit was very nice.

The cabin was all one could ask for and then plus that. Great atmosphere and pretty good fishing right of the steps in the creek. Communication with property manager was top notch. Highly recommend you to come stay here and relax.

Honeymoon Stay
My husband and I enjoyed our week at the Fly Away Cabin. We spent most of our time either outside on the porch listening to the birds and water flow by or near the water at the seating areas. The wildlife was everywhere and after having a stressful wedding process, this is just the place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back!

Incredible property both inside and out. Attention to detail and comfort of guests was of most importance. Very peaceful. Wildlife abounds. View of creek from front porch was beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of the construction in the cabin was very evident. The property manager made sure our stay was a wonderful experience. I assure you you will love this place.

Fly Away was awesome! So clean, comfortable, peaceful. Listening to the stream and sitting on the porch with nature doesn’t get any better. Michael was great with communicating as well. I would highly recommend Fly Away to anyone wanting peace and quiet and to just be.

LOOKING TO RELAX, THIS PLACE IS IT!!
My wife and I stayed in the area for an event and wish we could have spent more time at the cottage. We enjoyed the view from the front porch and deck was incredible, especially when a Bald Eagle flew 30 feet in front of us daily! Micheal was an awesome host and replied immediately with any questions. We look forward to heading back just to enjoy what this property has to offer. Thank you again for sharing this with us.
