The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. "Maison en parfait état et bien aménagée. Bon point de départ pour découvrir la région. Nous avons surtout apprécié les grottes riches en traces de la présence humaine. Le petit musée historique de la vieille ville et son ambiance tranquille par rapport à la plage trop mercantile. Belles promenades à partir de San Bernardino. "This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. It is tiny, with not much storage or countertop space. the marble sink is old and very small. It was a struggle cooking in there. "My wife and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay and property. Jessica was responsive and very helpful. It is way up the hill, so be prepared to drive to the beach. Would be even better with 2 couples where you could enjoy some meals together on the patio, overlooking the sea. The views of the sea from the house and patio are really incredible. Very tastefully and artistically decorated. Enjoyed dinner at La Ruggia and visiting Finalborgo. Highly recommend!"

"The view from the garden is magnificent, and the house was really nice inside. There is air conditioning in both of the bedrooms, which are upstairs, but we also had a lovely cooling breeze through the house - even at the start of July. "The location was absolutely fabulous. Our hosts, Barbara and David, were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and offered what we needed. If there is anything that cold be improved it would would be some less noisy doors/handles. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. We are already thinking of going back."

Fantastic stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. The hotel offers three restaurants, and the one I dined at was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere added to the experience. My room was exceptionally spacious, with a large bathroom, plenty of fresh linen and towels, and top-quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a great selection of coffee and tea, as well as a well-stocked fridge. The balcony was a perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. One of the highlights of Mare Hotel is its direct access to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for a seaside escape. The town center is just a 20-minute walk away, easily reachable via the road or a scenic stroll along the beach. As a female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The hotel’s environment is secure and welcoming. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Savona."

"Nice, well equiped, kind staff, excelent brakfast,clean, fantastic viev.Bathroom had a lot od places where you couf put, hang your things, and towels were so soft...but shower was very small. I should say.. if a guy iz XXL he would have some problems to close the doors, otherwise it was overall a nice place."
